Gearing up for Plymouth away this weekend.

We have a top 8 central defence and midfield.
We have a bottom 6 attack and full backs.
Where we end up this season could be largely determined by developments in the coming weeks I.e will we sell some of our better assets and replace them with lesser bottom 6 type players or will we retain our better players and seek to improve our attack and full back options with top 8 type players.

At the €40 mill price it didn’t take Spurs to price us out we were out weeks ago.

So as I was told last week & posted Lewis Hall is about to sign on loan.

But I’m sure I will still get lambasted for this too.

We now look to sign another Winger & Striker.

Whose place do you expect Gallagher to take if he came? Our likely midfield 3 are Doucoure, Lerma and Eze. I don't see us needing to replace any of them. We have Ahamada in the wings if one of those gets injured.

We need strikers and wingers and I don't want to see Eze shifted out to the LW to accommodate Gallagher which is what was happening when he was here on loan - Ebz is needed where he was playing under Roy and scoring goals for fun at the end of last season.

So sorry, no. However, I might consider Hall, Broja and CHO as permanents in exchange for Olise.

I'm not too bothered about this. Was a Summer Holiday romance that will always be preserved better in a memory than it would as a reality played out long term. Eze, Ahamada and possibly Franca too. We have more pressing concerns in the team.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
