Sadiq Khan or to be more precise TFL.
My normal route would be KX (Victoria line) to Vic station then Southeastern to Beckenham. Well it looks like all train companies south of the river are on strike and just to make it interesting so is the underground. Which brings me to the TFL website. If I use their journey planner they have factored in no trains which is fair enough. However they have not removed the underground journeys (which they run) so keep telling me to take this or that line. To add insult to injury you would think they would mention the strike on the home page but no, they do mention they're freezing fares. Anyway I will have to suck it and see when I arrive at KX. Probable journey is 63 bus to Farringdon, Elizabeth line to Whitechapel, Overground to Penge West then bus to Beckenham. TFL you need to update your website. Try Uber - it won't be much more than fares these days. Get somewhere out of the centre and then Uber it.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

Watch this and weep and get it out there to all Londoners! Others may have seen this already: a report shows that 1000 people employed by City Hall earn £100k+. A friend told me that, when challenged, Khan cheerfully pointed out that if you want good people you have to pay them well!

Maybe if they had a few Palestinian flags and glued themselves to the road. It would be ok.

Sadiq Khan slams Susan Hall after she says his free school meals may be feeding 'millionaires' children'. Funny I thought that was official tory policy. Hosted by the London Jewish Forum, no surprise there. Voting has been deliberately made difficult by the tories, and the FPP system imposed to reduce any sign of democracy like the General Election itself. Even so I think she is a quite awful candidate, and will lose by a big margin.

Updated. This thread went wonky for a bit I responded to an old comment not realising. New Comment. I intend voting for an independent in the Mayoral election. I had been looking at the Gym owner who is one of the few candidates that actually has an anti crime plan on his website. The rest all claim they will cut crime but fail to explain how. Anyway last night there was a hustings and Khan was repeatedly shouted down by this guy who was eventually ejected. I don't like Khan but I also don't like de platforming people just because you disagree with them. So this guy is not getting my vote. Back to the drawing board then. Openly anti-Semite comment from crypto-communist - no surprise there either.
