This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I don’t agree, I think if a bid in excess of £75M came in from Chelsea in the past two weeks he would have gone. Fact is.. it didn’t and SP with his sensible hat on recognized that it’s now to late to bring in a suitable replacement with only two days left, therefore now won’t sell.

thats just it chelsea spurs everton not one put a bid in, his agent would have spread the news, the press didnt mention his agent once in all press reports,if there was a serous offer up to valuation,Parish and Wilf would have talked and the deal would have been done before preseason

This is not the place for extended discussion of this but suffice it to say that people of faith are perfectly within their rights to lose their s*** when their faith is belittled in public. See Matt. 21 : 12 - 17. HTH. Edited by chateauferret (06 Aug 2018 9.28pm) Oh dear, Mr Ferret, your interpretation of Matthew reads like a Daily Mail article!! Jesus wasn’t defending his religion against unbelievers he was turning out those corrupt Christians (well Jews in the synagogue) who had turned the sacred day into a chance to make money and prevent people from worshipping praying sacrificing before God. To suggest that you can lose your sh!t with someone and try to back it up with scripture is unwise. Come on CF, BD had only stated his position he hadn’t corrupted the church. There’s a remarkable difference. The men in the temple were akin to football agents of today. They’ve taken something pure and honest that people want to enjoy and turned it into a way of making money.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

why would they say the bid would have come in too late when he was never officially for sale??? Because every player in the world is available at the right price, that I am afraid is the way of professional football, however if there is no time to sign an adequate replacement, then it is, quite simply, too late.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle With every minute that ticks by the transfer of Wilf becomes less likely. Asking price put Levy and spurs off, Willian staying at Chelsea killed off a bid from them. The only way he is going now is if we get a last minute stupid offer we just cant turn down. 100mill ish (but that aint going to happen)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Thanks for posting that. So I can probably ignore this 'reliable' source then: "Heard from a reliable source (my mate is mates with the Bromley physio who is mates with the franchise 2010 one) that Zaha is desperate to leave in this window and has had a spat with Parish. Apparently a lot of players have lost respect for Parish since he failed to ban the hooded knobs who injured the stewards and stole real palace fans tickets that night, after promising to. I heard Puncheons sister was one who was refused entry despite having a ticket and ruffed up by the ultras too. From what I’m told, Zaha and Benteke go into the physio room and demand to be treated straight away as they’re ‘top earners’. Heard of a palace player even throwing a youth teamed off the treatment table as they had a sore big toe - all is not well there at the franchise - worst it’s been in all 8 years of existence apparently. Apparently a lot of lower league players at clubs like Bromley don’t consider the CP2010FC players as real footballers as they were just placed in the 2nd tier and this is why many want out of the franchise this year"
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
