I didn't say the UK – but the EU and its UK traitors blatantly want a re-run. Second referendums after the EU lost the first include: Denmark on the Maastricht Treaty, Ireland on the Nice Treaty and Ireland again on the Lisbon Treaty. Indeed they do. The EU dont like people voting against their dictatorship.

The EU is not a dictatorship and even if it was we would still have the veto and our voting rights. However that does not apply to our future relationship with Europe. It will look very different then, as the UK continues to pay up and has to accept the rules with no rights of its own.

It is a dictatorship we have no vetoes once we leave "as the UK continues to pay up and has to accept the rules with no rights of its own." Not gonna happen dopey.

Happy second anniversary of the public making the brave decision to define our own future. We have to ensure that the government gives us what we voted for, a future free of the EU, ECJ, unelected commissioners and federalist creep. Remainers need to let the government get on with this. Remainers lost the argument and if democracy is comprised, thus will be the most dangerous outcome for the UK. Two elections and a referendum were won on the promise of a referendum or promises by the major parties to enact Brexit. Project fear is well and truly running, funded by establishment figures. Remainers are a tool of the establishment, brainwashed into believing that sucking the UK into the EU is some sort of stance against ‘bigotry’. Arguing that the 17 million whom voted to leave the EU as being ‘racist’, ‘little Englander’ or ‘driven by nostalgia’ is a falsehood and a derogatory insult of the highest order. The EU’s bullying tactics, particularly over Ireland, are expected and if it is a no deal, so be it. The UK is strong and has allies outside of the bloc. The EU needs to address its fundamental flaws, rather than blaming ‘mationalism’ for its problems. Engaging with the world, making trade deals on our terms, being an equal rather than a vassal state and embracing much needed technological and trade reform are the rewards of Brexit. We must take this opportunity.

I am currently in Munich. Interesting talking to locals here. They are really concerned about us leaving. Seems they have more to lose than us.

Engaging with the world, making trade deals on our terms, being an equal rather than a vassal state and embracing much needed technological and trade reform are the rewards of Brexit. We must take this opportunity. I say this with love to the Remainers. The reason you lost the referendum is because you failed to convince enough people of your arguments. Now that may be the fault of the politicians that led the Remain campaign but that is the position you are in. The Remain campaign need to start explaining better the benefits of staying in the EU. They also need to clarify what the UK's position would be. The EU has now made it clear that we are leaving and that if we change our mind it will be on their terms. In other words the status quo is not an option. Now this may be a negotiating tactic but the EU are saying we would have to join the euro and the rebate would be out of the window. The Remain camp have to address this rather then pretend it is steady as we go. I hear a lot of pro EU politicians saying we need a 2nd referendum but they are not telling the people that changing our mind will lead to another set of negotiations and the possibility that the deal we get is not the same as what we have now.. Until the Remain camp can present a vision of the UK in the EU I think they will continue to be frustrated and will not achieve the level of support they require. The argument about lack of vision also applies to the Brexit camp. We have won the battle now we need to win the war. PM May has so far failed to give the public a vision of the UK post Brexit and that frustrates me.

Tony Blair is suggesting we postpone Brexit until we get the deal he wants and then we have another referendum. A caller on LBC came up with this and it made me laugh. His negotiating strategy is the equivalent of a customer walking into a car showroom and yelling "I'm not leaving here until I've bought a car"

I'll never forget the bombing of the TV station during the Serb war. No Mr Blair, journalists....even dirty journalists are not a military target. Even though these things are messy, non combatants should not be targeted.
