I expect the EU to be adaptable while retaining its core values, including the UK leaving. It is strange to read continual posts about Italy Spain Draghi Poland etc. but not about the us, the UK which is leaving the EU we think in a few months.

Interestingly Farage just said that if Brexit isn't implemented or is heavily delayed that he's coming back. Should be more interesting.

Interesting....it appears that Ukip are under an attempted take over at the moment. Sargon, Paul Joseph Watson and Count Dankula have just joined it and encouraged their fans to do the same. Ukip was down to a twenty thousand membership I think so this will be interesting. Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Jun 2018 5.03pm)

Brexit Dividend = Spending money you don't have, to celebrate a deal you haven't done, to placate voters angry at not getting what they wanted..

I think thats the 4th or 5th country mentioned now that we thought would leave, every country that had an election coming up had a 'leave the eu' party lost. Wherever you sit politically, you need to accept the fact that nobody else in europe is coming with us...

Wherever you sit politically, you need to accept the fact that nobody else in europe is coming with us... I genuinely think you are wrong on this. You obviously aren't following the rise of anti EU groups all across Europe. It requires referendums to force these votes. The EU don't feel safe at all. The vote shares of these parties are gaining size. And in Poland and other eastern EU countries anti immigration parties hold power already. The threat of a Poexit is in response to EU threats to force unwanted immigration onto these countries. Unlike us, they aren't run by politicians who bent over to the EU and who even now are trying to kill Brexit or make it meaningless. Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Jun 2018 2.32pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Jun 2018 2.32pm) With Poland the issue is that the EU cannot allow state controlled judges, it has been taken up by many other countries, including the UK and Ireland, voicing concerns. I think if they want to go back to that throwback to the communist era, they should simply be asked to leave. Poland is the largest beneficiary of the EU and there are other countries waiting.
