"We"? Time will tell but personally I would go more with the vaccine being positive for the masses than the other suggestion.

"We"? The royal we *does a little wave* Though, no in all seriously, the core of conspiracy is that people make wild claims, they often don't come true and then they move onto the next. My point here is that this guy is saying that in a meeting it's been agreed that there will be a pause to the vaccine. I'm saying that if that doesn't happen, then yes surely 'we' will need to ask ourselves if this guy was telling the truth or involved in a meeting that held any sway. I certainly don't think I've been misled about the vaccine. It's not perfect, but clearly it has reduced the death count, and at least for those in vulnerable and elderly groups it's a very bad idea not to have it.

Just finished my shift volunteering at a vaccination centre in Penge. I was out front and the police pulled up I had a chat with them they were checking all the centres in the Bromley / Beckenham area. All was quiet at my one. Apparently they were concerned with anti-vaxer protestors at vaccination sites, must of the trouble has been in central London he said but this week there has been trouble in the Croydon area with antivaxers abusing and threatening the public going to get their jab.
As for anyone who thinks it a good idea to threaten people many of whom are vulnerable and or scared of having any type of jab, GO TO HELL YOU MORONS. Idiots and bully boys. Sure the pro vax lot are just the same! threaten and bully people into getting jabs that they do not want, need, unable or scared to do so. Its just not on the streets in protest but in every news, media, website, job, public venue!

You've been a bit quiet. Once the rollout gains momentum do let us know when you've had your booster (third jab), as regardless of differences of opinion, staying healthy is what matters. Cheers. Edited by BlueJay (26 Sep 2021 11.12pm)

To a large degree, we all make choices in life. Most of us go for the lower-risk option when making decisions that impact our lives, and those close to us. It is very difficult to get accurate comparitive data, because the method of compilation changed from the initial datum, and other countries have adopted their own methodologies completely.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Covid antiviral pill can halve risk of hospitalisation - [Link] "An experimental drug for severe Covid cuts the risk of hospitalisation or death by about half, interim clinical trial results suggest. The tablet - molnupiravir - was given twice a day to patients recently diagnosed with the disease. US drug-maker Merck said its results were so positive that outside monitors had asked to stop the trial early."
