You really need to learn what the word accusation means.

Ah, that lefty middle class snobbery. I wager you are dimmer than he is and have achieved far less from a more privileged background. Davies is from a working class background and grew up in Wandsworth. After his A levels he worked as an insurance clerk and worked a second job in the Territorial Army so he could earn enough to take exams to enter university. While there he earned a joint BSc in Molecular Science/Computer Science. Then he went on to earn a master's in Business. He then got into Harvard which is an ivy league university of course......Did you get into an ivy league university from a working class background I wonder?... He then worked at Tate & Lyle for 17 years, rising to become a senior executive. So...with kindness, you don't know what you are talking about.
I often think Davis doesn't know what he's talking about. He after all said we'd be doing bilateral trade deals with Germany in no time. He also said something about the dog eating his homework when asked about the impact assessments he'd done, or hadn't done, or had done but had forgotten he'd done, or hadn't done but thought he had done. I didn't realise this was a competition or that I was auditioning for Davis's job, but my background is not totally dissimilar. I'm much much younger than Davis though so had much less time to bluff my way to the top, and have no interest in becoming a politician. He is clearly a dullard. Every select committee I've seen him appear at is excruciating. He's never prepared and always comes across like he's not got the faintest clue what he's talking about and is surprised to be there.

The tories will be in turmoil over Europe for many years to come. The effect on the UK is a secondary consideration. Davies realises that not having an end date means that the customs union may simply be continued indefinitely. Making him redundant, an excellent reason to keep the Customs Union. And the disgraced former defence secretary Liam Fox too. Huge bonus.

The Tories are in a mess over Europe but so are Labour. If a GE is called and Labour win Corbyn will have similar problems with the EU as the Tories. His latest plan is also not on the table according to the EU. I don't know how this is going to play out but I think the UK has been awful at negotiating with the EU. After the vote I would have told the EU politely good bye we are going to WTO rules. I would then let them come to us with a deal. The EU have been very clever in saying that the UK doesn't know what it wants (kinda true). However the EU has never said what it is prepared to offer. It just knocks back our proposals and eventually gets its way (so far). We have a strong hand we need someone to play it. It's not incumbent on the EU to do anything other than offer what it already has. Barnier has quite a neat little chart showing what is available and the various red lines of the UK that get you down to a Canada style FTA. It can then only respond to what the UK says, which so far is very little. The EU has rules etc in place and it seems quite ridiculous for Brxiters to moan about those rules and say we're leaving due to the EU and it's rules and then moan that they then won't change its rules to suit us now that we're leaving. I get that the EU has an interest in achieving an FTA with a customs deal, but not at the expense of itself it doesn't.

A nice combination of hubris and waffle, perhaps you are self projecting.

The remainers in the cabinet are destroying Brexit. Brexiters should be leading Brexit. May is a liar and has to go.
