If he goes through with this it is very likely that children will die as a direct result.

He is still keen to bring in vaccine passports despite clear evidence that vaccinated people can and do catch the virus and transmit it to others - please look at what is happening in Israel,

And you still think this is about a virus….

Seems like a waste of time. They'd be best off getting on with boosters for the elderly and most vulnerable.

The JCVI said there was marginal benefit to 12-15 year old children from the vaccine when compared to vaccine risks (which there always are). If they are not vaccinated some will become seriously ill with COVID-19, if they are vaccinated some will become seriously ill from the vaccine. There was an overall benefit from the vaccine, but it was marginal.
The JCVI did not consider the wider impacts of the virus spreading (to adults) from children, the impacts of absence on education and the wider health impacts, instead they recommended this wider brief be considered by the 4 nations chief medical officers.

They are also absolutely clueless about the long term side effects of anyone being given any of the vaccines.

The information on long term side effects is limited because the vaccines have not existed long term yet, however some read across from similar vaccines does give assurance, as does the results to-date from the millions of doses delivered so far.
The effects of not vaccinating or trying to constrain the pandemic are much better understood though

Flip flopper of the century. You had the vaccine after saying how unsafe it was. Having buyers remorse now? Talk about not knowing whether you're coming or going.

I guess that is why the vaccine is still in trials until 2023…

What is the irrelevance of this post of yours? If you have nothing to say, say nothing.

The vaccine is not safe. Whether I had it or not is not of issue.

Widespread testing then 91,456,622 doses given so far in the uk, out of 5,460,114,540 worldwide, demonstrates the vaccine as safe. There are (as with all vaccines) some risks but these are outweighed by the consequences of the virus.

Indeed. But the vaccine is not safe.

Buyer's remorse is bad?

I don't really understand why you regard someone changing their opinion as such a negative.

Guess what....he could change it back again....blimey, you'd lose your sh1t!

He 'could'? It's already a bloomin saga. He called the vaccines 'unsafe for years', then had to have it extracted from him that he'd eventually had it, and now he's back to saying it's unsafe.

Of course if someone views a vaccine as unsafe at various points before and after actually having it, then taking it into their body may not be the best choice.

The only exception to that is if on some level outside of online bluffer and bluster they do actually believe that it was the right choice and may well protect them but prefer to do the 'have your cake and eat it' of maintaining an outwardly dismissive view of the vaccine. I'd say this is closer to the truth and of course also closer to the reality in health terms too.

Perhaps.

I'm also guilty of thinking I have a window into people's souls. I just wondered why possible flip flops on anything to do with covid mattered so much.

I've obviously wondered into a discussion where there is previous.
