I've asked for compromise but I like the mods who have been attacked and I realise that we don't see the sh1t that they have to deal with behind the scenes.....all giving their time voluntary to work on this site. Back to Trump. The above article describes what I can only describe as the loonies are running the asylum. In order to pay for his "beautiful" wall, Trump wants to cut funding to programs such as patrol boats (useful in the Rio Grande), electronic surveillance, customs agents and other successful programs. A Republican Congressman from Texas calls this using 3rd Century technology to solve 21st Century problems. Another immigration expert says that in order to stop people from using short term visas to overstay their welcome the wall would have to be 35,000 feet tall. It was the noted progressive American philosopher George S. Patton, Jr. who said, "Fixed fortifications are monuments to the stupidity of mankind." Donald J Trump, staaaaaable geeeeeenius. Found a few poppies in my car when I was cleaning it out the other day. Turns out I'd forgotten them... On an unrelated subject, it's always nice to see an anti-immigration nationalist bottling a visit to the UK due to anti-fascist protests.
