There is really nothing left of it. Enjoy your flag waving day next March. Then settle down to the EUs terms and conditions.
Change is happening regardless of what your views are so embrace it. When someone says'i'll never be rich' or 'i cant do that' you know what, they are right 100% of the time.If you want to be unhappy about things and only see the negatives then your life will reflect that. Life is too short to be so negative, keep an open mind and embrace the future.

I can't believe I am posting this but I am so fed up with May. I am a Tory Brexit voter but unlike many Remainers I can see merit in the arguments of the other side. The BBC is reporting that the NHS is being prevented from recruiting doctors presumably from outside the EU by a cap on numbers. I know I know we haven't left the EU yet but I voted to take control. I also expected the government to come out with their vision of how we will manage immigration post Brexit. To date we have nothing and then we get this blooming stupid rule. I am in favour of capping unskilled migration from wherever. As for skilled migration well when doctors in this country start complaining they are not busy then we can start capping numbers. Right now we should be rolling out the red carpet for these folks. For god's sake May get a grip and start telling us what the new immigration policy will be so bodies like the NHS can start planning. From personal knowledge it takes 3-6 months lead time to bring a person to the UK to work legallly. I do not regret voting Brexit but I am annoyed at the lack of vision not just from the Tories but also from Corbyn. Where is the statesman who will lead us to the promised land?

I think what we are experiencing now is an internal fight from within the Tory party's leadership for the very direction of Brexit (yes I know this was meant to have been resolved but in reality it was just delayed). There are lots of false flag issues that can be created to try to shift public opinion heavily against Brexit. Since the vote we have heard little positive from the mainstream media and mainstream politics. Brexit has to be led by Brexiters. We voted to leave the EU. Let's not forget that both May and the Chancellor are remainers and they were allowed to lead us into this with May stating the meaningless, 'Brexit means Brexit'. The core reality is that most of the UK parliament contains remainers who would like nothing better than to ditch Brexit.....Along with everything else, for lots of them Brussels is a political extension and gravy train career opportunity. You would come here as an EU nurse or Doctor ? After the UK turning its back, Windrush, treatment of EU citizens, why? Heal your own sick and pick your own spuds. Treat your own people like s**t, not us. Going home in droves to our great cost, another huge brexit own goal.

Keep an eye on Italy. What should I do if they move should I follow them? Are you referring to the new government or that the Italian banks are still in a mess and seem to be asking for a bailout every week.

Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Apr 2018 9.23am) Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. This should have been the Brexit mantra rather than "take back control" or "Brexit means Brexit". May has arbitrary targets and so doesn't care if a migrant is skilled, unskilled, a student, legal, illegal. They are all bad in her book once they get above 100,000 in total. She's a moron. She's the Maybot. It's all going pretty appallingly right now. Hopefully someone relieves her of her duties ASAP and starts to make some actual workable plans and starts living in the real world. Sadly for her we can all go to hell in a handcart as long as the Tory party doesn't implode.
