Todays first download is the first of this years sets from the Coachella Festival and the set by Tame Impala. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard via a webcast and it sounds top notch - really great sound. I've posted a couple of shows previously by Tame Impala and I'm sure there's more to come. This isn't the whole set as 3 tracks weren't broadcast for some reason - but the rest is a great set. Todays second download is another set from this years Coachella Festival and the set by Ride. This was recorded in Indio, California on the 10th April 2015 and is in superb quality, with the audio for the show being taken from the soundboard via a webcast. I don't know if I've posted anything by this band in the past - I don't have access to my hard drives at the moment and cannot check. I hope to get this remedied soon and will be able to check such things. In the meantime, if you know and like Ride then grab this show... Todays extra download is a bootleg of studio demos by Japan that were recorded in 1977 - before the band had released their first album and contains several songs that have never been released. This is in superb quality and the audio for the bootleg has been taken from the studio soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted some previous stuff by Japan but I'm not exactly sure how much as I don't have access to my hard drives at the moment. If you like Japan then grab this boot for the collection... Todays first download continues with a set from this years Coachella Festival in Indio, California and the set by Aussie rockers AC/DC. This is in excellent quality and the audio for the show has been recorded from the audience - and for an audience show it sounds really great. I've lost count of how many shows by AC/DC I've posted over the years - loads and loads. This is another wicked show for the collection - even though it's audience recorded. I usually don't bother with audience shows as they tend to sound "Distant" - but not this one... this sounds wicked with all the instruments and vocals way up in the mix. I've heard soundboards that weren't as good as this, so if you like AC/DC then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... I've posted a lot of shows by FloMo over the years - she always puts on a good show - and this is no exception. If you like Florence And The Machine - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... and then some... Todays extra download is a set by Tindersticks that was recorded in Paris, France on the 10th February 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it's an amazing recording - crystal clear sound. I have posted other albums and boots by Tindersticks in the past but at the moment I can't check exactly as I don't yet have access to my hard drives. Wiki tells me they've been around since 1992 and have released several albums and done a lot of film score work. If you know this band then grab this show... it sounds fantastic.. I recently posted Jack White's show from the Lollapalooza Festival in Brazil - this is another festival thats he's playing.. wouldn't be surprised to see him appearing at the European festivals in the summer. This is a wicked set with the usual mix of solo and covers of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs - even a Otis Redding cover... all ending with the classic Seven Nation Army... this one rocks big time... thoroughly recommended...
