The club clearly made a mistake-but everybody does from time to time-i Is it really worth this aggro? Presumably you enjoyed coming to the matches-what is the point of boycotting them-you have less enjoyment in your life, people miss you, those coming to the ground enjoy the atmosphere less-if you come back now bringing drums, flags and noise, everyone will welcome you, and you'll be see as winners.Try and remember all the good stuff you've done with the club over the years. For the next couple of years continue to lobby to move, and the club can accommodate your request, when the new stand is built. That's far too sensible...they must be missing their match day experience as much as we miss them, but can't see them coming back anytime soon.

The atmosphere was poor on Saturday- obviously the performance for an hour didn’t help, but the positivity and noise that they bring really can raise the players’ performances, even by fine margins that can make all the difference at this level.

I certainly don't see the club as culpable at all but the debate would be very sterile if we all agreed with one another. They’ve said they made a decision due to fans’ opinions without asking anybody but instead uproar from rumours and scare stories. The club have made a mistake. They’ve just taken the HF as a commodity and Parish now knows a mistake has been made.

I’m afraid this issue won’t be going away anytime soon and it’ll probably be around until something changes. You might find that further things happen from people there partly for the atmosphere whole experience as well as the football, just like those are there to say hello and how they’re doing to those around them for 23 years. There’s likely to be walkouts and possibly season tickets untaken. It’s so sad and such a shame the atmosphere has died after I thought everyone would step up, but it has, and plenty know how valuable it is to lose. There’s a twitter poll of E block fans to answer their opinion on Moving. Names will be cross referenced so no point posing as an e blocker.

This whole saga is sad and depressing and now becoming increasingly toxic. Not only that, national press and media are taking an interest and few of their articles or comments are positive for the club. Supporters of other clubs must be loving this! The HF have been a positive factor for Palace since their formation; their disbanding diminishes Palace to some extent. Of course, Palace will continue with or without them but surely we are better off going forward with the HF than without them. It's just so regrettable seeing so many people who want to see Palace doing well and prospering, arguing among themselves. I hope all parties concerned can put the accusations, counter-accusations and recriminations behind them and start communicating and talking and sort this situation out After our best pre-season for some years, a good transfer window, our iconic best player signing a new 5 year contract, our mananager signing a 1 year contract and winning our first game of the season we now seem to be scoring own goals!

A few years ago, Steve Parish sent a letter to a group of season ticket holders in the Directors box, roughly 4 rows across the whole of that section, slightly in front of where he sits. The letter stated that all of those affected would need to move seats, "to accommodate the then four directors family and guests". there was no choice, no consultation other than help to find another suitable seat, and no discount for moving, other than maybe your new seat being cheaper, FACT I was one of them, one of the seats offered to me was in something like row z of the Homesdale, I am still in the Directors box, and to be honest in a better seat, Steve moved people when it suited him

Some people on here are getting really bent out of shape over this. I worry how they will cope when something truly important happens in their lives...

Where its gone wrong is it seems to be an argument of us vs them and who's the better fan and why should he have my seat and I have to move just because I'm not in the hf. I think the club has handled the situation poorly to be honest. It should have been made clear that block e would now be an all inclusive singing section that was open to all fans with the ambition of seeing it grow across the whole lower holmesdale. Not block e for the hf. No one would kick off if they decided to move the away fans again and people had to move seats or the family stand or a new disabled area. I see no difference between them and a singing section

OK there was a difference of opinion between the HF and the club over moving the to a different area. So what do you do in a dispute? The sane and sensible way is to negotiate a solution whilst maintaining the status quo. In this instance a group of supposedly Palace through and through supporters have thrown their teddies out of the pram because they did not get their own way immediately. The club have been in far worse situations over the years and have survived and will this time too. If this thread were locked it might help take the heat out of the situation and give both parties time and space to reach a sensible compromise.

I'm with the club on this one. Oh hang on....I'm with the club on most stuff....because you know...I support Crystal Palace...the football club. If a club annoys you that much, just stop supporting it..or just start caring less about it.....these are businesses at the end of the day and a bit of perspective is required.
