The campaigning in Italy was interesting as EU/Eurozone membership wasn't really a big deal. A lot of it was along the lines of race, and 5 Star and the League both backed down from promises made a while ago to hold referenda on such matters. There is an interesting episode of Talking Politics on it from a week ago. [Link]

Busted flush for years, and kept rather quiet. Isn't the same with some French banks? You wonder how they ever got through the EU stress testing.

Are you serious....the EU couldn't even deal with Greece leaving the Euro....you think it could deal with its third largest economy leaving! So many pro EU supporters know so little about the institution they defend so much.

So many pro EU supporters know so little about the institution they defend so much. And so many of those who oppose it know just as little - it's a massive problem on both sides. Interestingly, it's acceptable to make statements like yours above, yet if you accuse Brexiters of being uninformed, it's met with ridicule and offence - they all knew exactly what they were voting for.

Disgusting if it was a purely race driven attack, but you can tell that you don't live here, because I can't see it happening soon. However, I do see some of those of a certain race and religious background continually raping some from a different race and background over decades, on a much larger scale than your chosen example of what may or may not have been racism. Really strange how you're cherry picking which racism is bad a which isn't. Really odd. Edited by Rubin (17 Mar 2018 9.02am)
