Damn right. Unfortunately 55%, they reckon, disagree. Virtuous and sanctimonious idiots. And they call selfish to everyone else. Some of the decorated and sequinned face cloths worn yesterday with pride was unbelievable. Apparently they care and we don’t. They are a cult, and like all cults, get the same responses. Apparently the you gov poll was conducted of about 3000 people, all carefully selected of course.

Well - what a surprise - China rejects further investigation even though it is from the (totally biased in their favour) WHO!

The first investigation was quite literally by a scientist who is and was funded regularly by the Wuhan lab in question. Not a conspiracy theory, I researched it personally, using his own publications and articles - because I could not believe the balls on these people.

I thought I would share this. My neighbour has a son who lives in Thailand. I can't prove this but I trust my neighbour she is not the sort to make this stuff up. I don't see it as a conspiracy just that the app is no bloody good.

Not defending the app ( I haven’t got it) but have heard this scenario previously, despite no contact between neighbours

I'd say on the whole it's likely reasonably accurate 'but' that there is again so much covid going about that being accurate becomes the problem. It's going to become practically impossible to avoiding coming into contact with people with covid now. By hospital admissions, this will likely be the 'oh maybe I should've got vaccinated after all' chapter for some. The pingtastic reality of 'freedom day' with adjustments so that not happening again August is a bit of a disaster. Personally, I have deleted the app now, but only because I've now had and just got over covid so I would see it as pointless to isolate again anyway.

Just because my neighbour has COVID I shouldn't have to isolate unless I have been in close contact with them.

Hope you have made a full recovery, stay safe Thanks. I had both vaccinations prior which helped I believe. My symptoms were a dry cough that lingered, and bad fatigue. Thankfully I didn't pass it on to anyone else, though a pal who picked it up at the same time did. I'm convinced that there are many more cases right now than we realise and that people just aren't bothering to report it anymore. This 'could' be a good thing since hospital numbers are still low. I was always of the mind that post vaccination there's little more than can be done really. It looks like a prime opportunity to just blast through this now, in that it's 'as good as it gets' protection-wise. I'm not sure businesses or people can take further lockdowns, but then if one thing we can be sure of here it's that flipflopping is the order of the (freedom) day. That said I do still appreciate the horrendous impact this virus has had on the elderly, immuno compromised and millions around the world who have little chance of ever being vaccinated.
