Not really. Theres plenty of managers that could do a better job than Roy. Prior to his appointment, we'd had a rampant finish to the season and lost our first 3 games All it took was a manager that didn't play two 20 year old full backs at centre back in a 3-4-3 and we were fine. Frankly, all is required is someone who'll play their players in their correct position and play to the players strengths. Roy's reminds me of a throw back from a bygone age of cronyism when Britain was the sick man of Europe. He doesn't have the talent or ability to do the job, but fits in with the powers that be. There must be hundreds of intelligent, ambitious managers who want his job but have been locked out by an old boys club. Thomas Tuchel

Each week, sadly it is the same old story. Hodgson has run out of ideas, strategy and today against ten men, we were simply out thought. To be blunt, it was embarrassing. We have so many riches in terms of players and yet we look like an amateur outfit. The Board need to act now before it is too late.

I was castrated here a while back for pointing out that this league is an up or out mindset league. You cant survive for long by aiming for mid table obscurity. Playing to not lose or stop the advesary from doing you home. Thats a lesson 73 year old roll of the dice Hodgson has never learnt. So here we are. a 10 man team gouges us at will. And some on here still claim our future in the prem rests on this man? Relying on Zaha antics to give us PL fascia was never going to be a long term strategy. Hodgeson is a gentleman for sure. He is a hack of a manager for shizzle. This is outrageous. Name names!

OK, so from the many posts so far, a handful have lived in the real world long enough to suggest a replacement for the man they want sacked. Suggestions include: 1. Internal appointment (Derry, McCarthy). and also 3. jeeagles grandmother.
Look, I don't enjoy watching Palace grind out results playing anti-football, or getting stuffed when they even try to play a little, but thats the real world. We've hit the glass ceiling. This is as high as we can ever, ever get unless something big changes in the non-football side of the club. The point I am trying to make is that there isn't a coach out there who can break that ceiling for us. Whoever we could get would be not produce a side any less flawed than Roy does - they may be flawed in different ways, but that's all.

How Bilic is an upgrade on RH I'm really not sure, and whilst Frank has done a good job in the championship, so did Freedman, and Holloway. They are both available if you like? We aint at the ceiling of this club not even close to it we are the biggest club in our part of London with a new academy facilities and allegedly going to be upgrading the stadium ect we are the countries biggest under achiever in terms of potential let down constantly by poor ownership never seizing opportunities. We have had one of the most talented players in the league for 5 seasons straight and not built around him or gave him a reason to want to stay we are a f***ing joke.
