If you're going to look at empire then why fixate upon the British?

As for the idea of an 'independent' UN panel....I'm not one who thinks that's possible, these things are inherently subjective.

As ever, who is selecting and judging the judges and what are their biases?....You'd need an 'independent' panel for that.....it's a looping nightmare.

The issue I had with Corbyn talking to the terrorists was that he represented no one but himself. Naturally the Tories wanted nothing to do with him but the Labour party of Blair also distanced itself from him whilst they negotiated with the terrorists.

Some of the IRA leaders have gone on record saying they use Corbyn to embarrass the government but that was all, once the discussions started he was ignored.

Some people have tried to rewrite history and suggest that Corbyn played a role in bringing peace to NI. He didn't, lots of other people did play a role from all walks of life the most you can say of Corbyn was that he was consistent protestor and campaigner for a United Ireland.

Nothing wrong in talking to both sides I look forward to him having meetings with Israel and protestant terrorists something he so far has not managed in his busy schedule.

Corbyn stated an equivalence between the British Army and the IRA when it came to attacks.

He isn't a fit person to represent the British taxpayer.....in fact, in all seriousness it's a joke that he leads the Labour party.

And that's not saying that the far left can't lead it....but it is saying that a person with his track record should not be in charge of our armed forces.

If I were a general I wouldn't be able to stomach it.

To be fair to the Labour Party (and that is not something I known for doing) they have presented the country with a radical manifesto. You can argue that much of it is pie-in-the-sky but it does put some clear water between it and what has been the ruling neo-liberal hegemony for some while now.

And if they were respecting the Brexit vote, it might actually appeal. They did well in 2017. Bloody well really considering what the polling was telling us with notable exceptions.

Now I would never vote Labour in a million years and with the likes of IRA loving scumbags like Corbyn and co in charge then make that period of time closer to infinity but in terms of politics, they are offering people a genuine choice. That is a REAL Labour manifesto in all its vomit-inducing glory. Fair play to them on that.

But Brexit is going to f*** them up. The underlying narrative is for Brexit to be done and dusted. Over. People are sick of it but, on the whole, believe the vote of 2016 should be respected. Labour offer the very worst of options on that. All they are offering is more of the same followed by a farce of a referendum that ends nothing. Only adds fuel to the fire. And why I truly struggle to understand the Remainer Retard mentality. They truly are the most venal and stupid of political tribes ever who seem to have an almost imbecilic lack of understanding of how the very core of the democratic process actually works. Morons to the 'nth degree.

I bet the PR people at Labour are wishing she would just go away, with friends like that..

Also saw the Maureen Lipman advert, a lifelong Labour supporter telling the public not to vote Labour because of the anti-Semitism. That must of hurt her making that.

Matov is correct Labour are offering the public a genuine choice something New Labour never really did they were more Tory lite.

Meanwhile Nigel is offering to scrap the license fee it is so tempting for me to vote for The Brexit party but I won't as my MP is a good bloke and has a big Tory majority. If I was in a marginal it would be a no brainer.

Definitely “on the spectrum.”

Still would, though.
