This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Just seen on BBC that Leicester value Maguire at £80m. If he's worth £80m we can't be accepting less than £100m for Wilf IMO. Given Wilf made Maguire look like a League 2 defender twice last season I'd be a bit upset if Manure paid £70m+ for Maguire and we ended up selling Zaha for a similar price.

Willian staying put. Not sure about hazard but less chance of them going for wilf perhaps Edited by matthau (06 Aug 2018 11.54am) They may want a front 3 of Willian, Zaha and Hazard with Wilf having the central attacking role he craves. I hope not though and I just want 5pm on Thursday to come round quickly!

I thought Bolasie was on £100k but he’s on £80-90k which is a lot considering iinjuries and apps, question marks etc.

There's a whole load of people in who's opinion God exists; they're wrong, but it doesn't stop them believing it. You do realise that Wilf himself is one of these "wrong" people, right? So are quite a few of our other players. Another completely gratuitous and off-topic anti-Christian sideswipe. Thoroughly disrespectful and disgusting. Not even relevant to what we were discussing. I thought these fora were welcoming to all Palace fans of whatever sex, orientation, race, creed, age and class and that we were all in this to enjoy football and celebrating our team together. Seems I was wrong about that. If you must do this horrible thing to satisfy whatever need you have that drives it, at least have the decency to do it in General Talk. This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle There are alot of stories flying around today, if Palace are genuinely trying to recruit these players then I can only think Zaha is off to finance these. Given Chelsea's performance yesterday, would it be the right time to go there.

I agree with you on that, Wilf turned him inside out when we played Hull . I didn't particularly rate Maguire and thought Southgate was bonkers to pick him over Tomkins. Fair play to him he did well in Russia but it did somewhat inflate his valuation IMHO. Edited by chateauferret (06 Aug 2018 1.31pm)

Given Chelsea's performance yesterday, would it be the right time to go there. I have to agree here but it’s a big IF that we’re trying to recruit all of them. It’s either 1 or 2 of many being speculated or more and Zaha is actually being sold. At least it seems there’s plans for any eventualities.

I agree with you on that, Wilf turned him inside out when we played Hull . I think he was referring to the two games v Leicester that ended up 5-0 and 3-0, rather than the previous season at Hull where we only beat them 4-0 and drew 3-3 because Snodgrass was a diving prick.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Just a thought, and it may already have been said but are any other club going to get the same level of performance from Wilf. Last season it seemed to be very personal for him , so much determination to drag us to safety
