Todays first download is a set by Dave Mason that was recorded in Pasadena, California on the 1st August 1981. This is in superb quality and th audio for the show has been taken from a Pre-FM broadcast of the show. The show was recorded on the 1st August 1981 but wasn't aired until December 21st, 1981. This is the full show as broadcast - which includes all the ads and DJ chatter - which can be easily deleted as they are seperate files. If you like Dave Mason - then download this show which ends with a top version of "All Along The Watchtower" ... this is classic stuff and is thoroughly recommended - and then some!. Todays second download is a set by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band that was recorded in Honolulu, Hawaii on the 28th February 2009. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the second album by JB that I've posted - and the first bootleg. Some classic tracks are covered on this one.. including top versions of While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Brown Eyed Girl. If you like Jimmy Buffett then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - they are called Rain Parade and this is a show recorded in Turin, Italy on the 13th November 1985. This in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The band formed in 1981 and were active until 1988 when they split up. They released 7 albums during that time and a few singles/ep's. The reformed in 2012 and are still going today. If you know this band then download this show.. if you don't - give it a try.... this is well worth the download.... Todays second download is a set by Ratdog that was recorded at the KPFA Studios, Berkeley, CA on the 1st March 2006. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've only posted a couple of shows by Ratdog according to my files. This is another show for the collection. Ratdog was the brainchild of Grateful Deads Bob Weir who started the band as a side project. This is a classic set with some top tunes by the Grateful Dead performed. This show is unique in that during the encore break the members of the band actually took phone calls from listeners and answered their questions on stage. If you like a bit of Grateful Dead - with a difference then download this one...
