'Freedom day'. Kinda sounding less and less like freedom with each advancing day. Freedom lite. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Jul 2021 4.31pm)

Social distancing must become our way of life. People should take no notice of governments, people like Johnson and Witty and do the safest thing for themselves and their families.

With the rapid proliferation of the virus,I believe that it will be a matter of weeks before restrictions will be re-introduced. I must admit, based on the month by month flip flopping, the phrase 'freedom day' popping up does bring to mind the prospect that it will end up being anything but. I see two scenarios really. One where the numbers reach a high point (maybe 100,000+ daily and decline), and one where we buckle prior and reintroduce measures. No idea which will come first. From a personal perspective, despite being vaccinated (AZ) I have in fact now caught covid while attempting to lead a normal life (got it in a pub during the England game I believe), but don't feel all that bad yet (fatigue, slight cough). I have faith in the science, and while appreciating that the elderly are still at some risk, have thought for a while now that the current situation is basically as good as it's going to get.

I think cases will rocket until august September, then plateau off for 2-3 weeks then drop dramatically in October. By then most will be double jabbed so illness decreases and its harder to contract ( knowingly have it). I think we need to stick this out tbh. The storm before the calm ironically.

‘Data not dates’. Unbelievable what they’re doing. Managed to get my second jab on Thursday but still going to take all sensible precautions for a while yet until the double dose protection has kicked in.

''You will own nothing & you will be happy'' Edited by Ouzo Dan (17 Jul 2021 6.30am) The globalistic direction of travel favoured by the super elites. Population reduction and centralised ownership, social credit systems. The original starters of the 'build back better' phrase that we started to hear world leaders say like it was a mantra.
