Todays first download is a set by Genesis that was recorded at the Saratoga Performing Arts Centre, Saratoga Springs, New York on the 26th August 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I have posted a version of this show before but this one has a lot more tracks and is an upgrade. I've posted stacks of shows by Genesis over the years and if you have the first version of this one - then download this upgrade for the collection... this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - but not the first album, as I've posted a studio released one. Todays extra download is a set by Billy Bragg that was recorded at the Glastonbury Festival, Pilton, Somerset on the 25th June 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM Broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted other BB bootlegs in the past including another Glastonbury set - but a later one in 2013. If you downloaded that show then give this earlier one a go... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a show by Kool & The Gang that was recorded at The Zenith, Paris France in March 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a pre-fm recording on the famous Westwood One radio show which was aired on the 21st March 1988. There are a lot of ads in this recording but they are all seperate tracks and can easily be deleted if not wanted. This is the complete show which was taken from the vinyl transcription disc - exactly as it was broadcast. If you like Kool & The Gang then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. This is Cable, a band from Derby who formed in 1992 and released 3 albums, several singles and a few EP's. They split up in 1999 but reformed in 2012 and are still going today. This is a set recorded at the Reading Festival on the 24th August 1995 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broacast that sounds top notch. If you know this band then download this show.. if you don't . then download it and give them a try... they're not bad at all... Todays first download is a set by Don Henley that was recorded for VH1 Storytellers at the Hollywood Center Studios, Los Angeles on the 19th February 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a TV soundboard recording and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few solo shows and sets by DH - but I've posted more with him as a member of The Eagles. Some classic tracks on this one including different versions of his hits... which finishes with Don poking fun at the state of the music industry as he performs his Eagles classic "Life In The Fast Lane" - as a rap song!.... it's certainly different.. so give it a listen... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is the second bootleg by this band that I've posted - it's only the second I've ever seen. This is Pavlov's Dog and a show recorded at the Ford Auditorium, Detroit, Michigan on the 14th May 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre-fm soundboard which was broadcast on Detroit's WABX-FM radio and it sounds fantastic... top quality sound. If you downloaded the previous show I posted and liked it - the grab this one as well... top quality sound, top quality show... thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted. This is Jim Reeves and a show recorded in Oslo, Norway on the 15th April 1964. This has been recorded from a Medium Wave radio broadcast - and for a mw broadcast from 1964 this boot has no right to sound as good as it does... I was staggered when I gave it a listen - I have FM shows that aren't as good as this. This is only a very short set that runs for 16 minutes - but Jim manages half a dozen songs before he is presented with a silver disc. He performs his hit song "I Love You Because" on this one.
