Have to say I'm beginning to think that as well. If he prefers to go to the clowns and upset his own fans, let him. We need someone 100% focussed on us.

If he was taking the job i would expect to hear by 5pm today of a PC at Selhurst tomorrow morning. If he hasn't contacted SP by 5pm then we need to move on and forget. Good post SW2. I agreed with pretty much all of it apart from wanting Burley gone. He needed to go but the timing is unfortunate, I too am worried about how far we are into the transfer window already. It gives whoever is our next manager 3 weeks to assess the squad, identify additions/replacements and get them in, that isn't a lot of time. If we don't get some additions in I think we stand a good chance of being relegated no matter who we have in charge.

Good post SW2. I agreed with pretty much all of it apart from wanting Burley gone. Nothing concrete there, just speculation based on what our papers have been saying, namely that 2010 have a plan 'B' if Howe does turn us down.

I'm getting a bit fed up with this now. Just make up your minds people and lets get this settled one way or the other.

Really wouldnt be happy with Hill, i really dont think a manager currently lying 11th with his current club can come in and do a job for a team figting against relegation! Why in gods name would Howe choose the Clowns?? Really wouldnt be happy with Hill, i really dont think a manager currently lying 11th with his current club can come in and do a job for a team figting against relegation! CPFC2010 please sort this out!!

Problem is now EH has all the time in the world to make a decision - we clearly don't. I assumed he would have a think over the weekend and make a decision Monday morning. The article someone posted suggests he will be having other meetings later today with his current chairman etc. The longer this goes on, the less comfortable I am feeling and I think plan B may well have to kick in! How unfortunate for us there were so many sackings at the same time.

The fan sites I have read don't even seem to want him very much - too young, not enough experience, they beat us when we played them 1st game of the season
