Todays extra download is a set by Alice In Chains that was recorded at the Rock In Rio Festival in Rio De Janiero, Brazil on the 19th September 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many boots by AIC according to my files - only a handful, so it's about time for another show. If you like Alice In Chains and downloaded the previous shows I posted - then download this one as well.. this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Steely Dan that was recorded at the National City Pavillion, Cincinnati, Ohio on the 13th July 2008. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Steely Dan are a fantastic band - Donald Fagen and Walter Becker being the two main artists but they always have a great backing band and this show is no different. Some real classics on this one including "The Royal Scam""FM" and "Kid Charlemagne" all being played. I've posted a lot of shows by SD over the years and this is another top bootleg for the collection. I thought I'd previously posted this one, but I cannot see it in my files, so I guess not. If you like Steely Dan - download this great show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. This is Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen and a set recorded in Rotterdam, Netherlands on the 28th August 1973. For a bootleg thats over 40 years old this is in superb quality with the audio for the show being taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. Commander Cody (George Frayne) has released over 20 albums since 1971 and many compilations and singles. They play country rock with a bit of rockabilly, bluegrass, etc. If you know of CC and the Lost Planet Airmen then download this show.. if you don't then download this show and give them a try.... Todays extra download is a megalink for anyone who likes Mike Scott and The Waterboys.. Loads of top shows on this link as well as some audience recorded shows. The shows are from 1978 until December 2014. These are all live bootlegs from various sources - some FM, some audience, some TV - all sorts. Quality varies accordingly. Todays first download is a set by Eric Clapton that was recorded at the Convention Center, Dallas Texas on the 15th November 1976. The quality of this bootleg is absolutely superb - pin drop perfect sound and the audio has been taken from a pre-fm master soundboard and it sounds fantastic - easily one of the best sounding EC boots I've ever heard. The mix is bang on and all the instruments are right up in the mix and the stereo is top notch as well. This isn't the full show but it's still a must have if you like ol' slowhand.
