Todays first download is a set by Lynyrd Skynyrd (mk2) that was recorded at the Sportshalle, Hamburg on the 15th February 1992. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I saw the original LS line up every time they played in London. I didn't think they could ever come back after the plane crash which killed singer and front man Ronnie Van Zant and some of the crew, but on this boot we have 4 of the original line up playing... and their track Free Bird is still the air guitar anthem of all time... grab this one ... this rocks... big Big TIME... Todays second download is a set by the Ruts that was recorded at the Marquee Club in London on the 19th July 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is fantastic stuff - a really great show which really gets the audience going. I posted this one before in 2008 - but this is an upgrade to that show with a higher bitrate. If you like Ruts then you must grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended and then some!.. Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. This is Yo La Tengo and a set recorded at the Summer Sundae Festival, England on the 14th August 2005. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Yo La Tengo come from Hoboken, New Jersey and started in 1984 and are still going today. They have released 14 albums to date (thanks wiki). If you know this band - then download this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Mr Pink Floyd himself - Roger Waters. This is a show that was recorded at the Mecca Arena, Milwaukee on the 13th November 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre fm soundboard of the show and it sounds top notch. This is a great set and RW plays his album Radio Kaos as well as a good dip into his Pink Floyd catalogue. A few tracks at the end of disc 3 are from other shows on the tour but it doesnt take anything away from this boot. This is great stuff and if you like Roger Waters then this is a must have - this is thoroughly recommended and then some ... Todays second download is a set by Deep Purple that was recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 21st August 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is a cracking show with some classic DP tracks being played like "Highway Star" "Woman From Tokyo" and "Smoke On The Water". Joe Lynn Turner is on vocals for this show and it's a wicked performance. If you like Deep Purple then grab this show. This is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a bootleg by Queensryche that features some acoustic unplugged tracks and some live tracks as well. The unplugged tracks were recorded in 1983 for MTV and the live tracks were recorded in New York and Japan in 1983-85. I've posted a few shows recently by this band and if you've downloaded any of those then give this one a go. This has great sound and is a top boot which is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Emerson, Lake & Palmer that was recorded at The Coliseum, Wheeling, Virginia on the 12th November 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many shows by ELP over the years as good quality ELP boots are quite rare. This is a very good one and a great show which ends with the classic "Fanfare For The Common Man". If you like a bit of ELP then download this one... this is thoroughly recommended - and then some!..
