You are the most hypocritical person I have ever encountered.

Now don't start. You bored yourself into a stupor a few months back and you'll only end up there again if you carry on with your nonsense. I can take it no problem but as we have seen you can't.

Play nice.

My mother passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s and I was dealing with the fall out from that, which included my father suffering ill health.

I didn’t have time for this board.

It’s interesting that you take note. One lives with me and the wife, one at uni.

Trust that clears up your confusion.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry reading this Twitter thread on Brexit impact assessments by sector.

The death of a mother is a terrible thing. I feel for you, even though we disagree on many points of politics, I like you matt_himself

My Brexit Christmas wish.

I hope that as we go into 2018 the political parties start to tell us what Brexit really means for them. MY thoughts on what they should be.

Tories
As the government it is really down to them to explain to the electorate their vision. I hope that the Tories make it clear there will be:
- No major changes to current EU law in this Parliament it will just be rolled into UK law.
- I would transfer to the regional parliaments as much EU law as possible including fishing rights and of course the money. This hopefully would kill off Nationalist ambitions.
- Publish an immigration policy that can be debated to be implemented after the next general election. I am not desperate to pull up the draw bridge immediately but would like to know what it is.
- Publish a post Brexit post general election vision.

Labour
- Pick a policy and stick to it. I really do not understand their position. They are asking for things that the EU say are never going to happen. They are quick to state that the Tories are in disarray (true) whilst ignoring they have the same problems. The young who love Corbyn are typically pro EU yet Labour is pro Brexit. They will have to square that circle.
- Be grown up and tell the Tories as long as EU law is passed into UK law without watering it down they will support the government.
- Publish their immigration policy.
- Publish their version of a Corbyn government post Brexit.

Lib Dems
- Don't care they will whine , moan and oppose. If the remainers feel that strongly they should support the Lib Dems but I don't see that happening.

Anyway lets hope that 2018 bring clarity.

The Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) states that Britain will have a bigger economy than France in 2020:

They also admitted that they got their post-Brexit predictions for the economy wrong.

Who would have thought that?

If you model with broadly negative assumptions and scenarios then inevitabily the output will mirror those assumptions. So always challenge the inputs.

The further away from a Hard Brexit we get and the Softer it appears it will be, the more the optimism rises. Who wouldn't have thought that?

UK = EU lite. In the year 2020 and beyond hopefully.

That's what happens when remainers lead.

Best. Spin. Ever.

Alastair Campbell would be proud of that.
