Play nice. My mother passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s and I was dealing with the fall out from that, which included my father suffering ill health. I didn’t have time for this board.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry reading this Twitter thread on Brexit impact assessments by sector. [Tweet Link]

The death of a mother is a terrible thing. I feel for you, even though we disagree on many points of politics, I like you matt_himself

The Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) states that Britain will have a bigger economy than France in 2020: They also admitted that they got their post-Brexit predictions for the economy wrong. Who would have thought that?

Who would have thought that? If you model with broadly negative assumptions and scenarios then inevitabily the output will mirror those assumptions. So always challenge the inputs.

Who would have thought that? The further away from a Hard Brexit we get and the Softer it appears it will be, the more the optimism rises. Who wouldn't have thought that? UK = EU lite. In the year 2020 and beyond hopefully.
