Todays first download is a set by David Bowie that was recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre, London on the 27th June 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM Broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. This is great stuff with some great tracks - "Ashes To Ashes" "The Man Who Sold The World" and "Fame" being performed. I've posted stacks of albums and bootlegs by the thin white duke over the years of the mp3 thread and this is another top show for the collection. If you like a bit of Bowie - then download this show... this is thoroughly recommended. Here is a download link I found for :- Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Wild Is the Wind (Johnny Mathis cover) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 132MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy! Todays second download is a bootleg of demos and unreleased recordings recorded by Flip City that were recorded between 1974-75. These demos are in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Flip City was Elvis Costellos band before he went solo and formed The Attractions. Some of the tracks here are early versions of what would later become hits for Elvis Costello. Some of the tracks are cover versions of other songs, some were recorded at the Hope & Anchor pub in Islington. This is a top bootleg and if you want to hear what Elvis Costello was like before he became famous then download this boot. This is thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- Demos & Unreleased Recordings 1974-1975 -Flip City (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : BBC's Maida Vale Studios, 1974 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 69.2MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting/Filenotes) The Line-up : Enjoy! Todays extra download is a set by Simple Minds that was recorded in Hyde Park, London on the 8th September 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast on BBC Radio 6Music and it sounds top notch. Only a short set of 4 tracks but they're all classics - kicking off with Waterfront then into Alive And Kicking followed by Santify Yourself and ending with Dont You (Forget About Me)... a really top setlist.. I've posted this before, but I was asked for some live SM shows - and this was one of the boots I sent.. If you missed this first time round - grab it now as it's highly unlikely it will ever be posted again.. Here is a download link I found for :- Live in Hyde Park, London 8.9.13 - Simple Minds (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Todays first download is a set by Brian Setzer that was recorded at The Warfield on New Years Eve 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been take from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've only posted a fwe shows by Brian Setzer with his own band but I've previously posted a lot with him as founder of The Stray Cats. This is a great show and a wicked way to see in the new year... rockabilly style. This really gets the audience going and come the midnight hour and new year there's a countdown followed by Auld Lang Syne.. then the band rock on... this is a great show and is thoroughly recommended.. Here is a download link I found for :- Live at The Warfield, San Francisco, CA 31.12.95 - Brian Setzer (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Disc One : 01. Introduction Disc Two : 18.
