No they can't rudi but if someone tests positive then all the guests need to isolate and get a test. It is precisely what people haven't been doing. You sure about this claim of ‘100s of 1000s with long Covid?

At 2 May 2021, an estimated 1.0 million people living in private households in the UK (1.6%) were experiencing self-reported long COVID (symptoms persisting for more than four weeks after the first suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) infection that were not explained by something else).

Met my first anti vaxxer yesterday in a pub watching the football. They appears to be quite a common attitude with some. You take the risk, I'll reap the rewards. How community minded. Still, life has a habit of educating and he's bound to get it anyway. If he's fine, lucky him, if he's bad, he could've likely avoided that experience.

You have more confidence in the liar Johnson than I do Cryst - I am sure I read somewhere that every fine given out, when challenged, has not been upheld which is good news. Yes I do and it may be true about the fines but the threat of one is enough for the majority to try to stick to the rules.

Well that was a shock - Johnson not keeping his word and extending lockdown. Ok for the G7 to meet with no social distancing, masks etc but extend lockdown for everyone else. Why does Florida or Texas not get a mention- no SD, masks etc and full venues for sports but low case rates and deaths? With Johnson and Hancock this will never end... Did Boris actually say lockdown would definitely end in June? Not sure he did, I believe it was along the lines of, hopefully but depending on the scientists. So did he lie?

Agreed, I feel the same about those who have travelled to India during the pandemic for no other reason but to have a holiday or visit family for a wedding

Is that it? Show me months and months and counting. i.e - permanent, for millions. Or hundreds of thousands. Not recovery after being in hospital, which is very normal.

Always have a sandwich or drink in your hand and you’re safe from the virus. Follow the science and don’t be ignorant. Be morally superior and virtuous. Apparently mask use has notably dropped since Boris’s latest waffle and make believe rules last night.

How many examples of Boris lying do you need to see before you're comfortable calling him a liar? Not Covid-specific, I mean across his career. It's so, so depressing to see people still claiming the mistakes we made were inevitable - accountability no longer exists.

He is the first PM this country has had who is nothing but a front of house representative. The only thing he ever gets to do is stand before a lectern or PMQs and read from an autocue or script something prepared by someone else. He is not a public servant. He is a mere figure head, appointed as he is affable and popular. As Ken Clarke once said, "He couldn't run a whelk store". Thus, whether he is honest or not is immaterial. He is not personally running the show.
