And the fans will flock from everywhere to fill the seats to see ... Sully Kai Kai? Kai Kai is a youth player that doesn’t play for the first team , but no fans flock to come and see prem football , and the whole side , they don’t come to just see Zaha , plus if we sold zaha I think you know that we would replace him.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle If a potential move is not about money ( which I don't think it is ) then I would say some things have changed over the last week or so. Firstly we have made two very good signings. And possibly more to come. Secondly, if Spurs are now out of the picture that just leaves Chelsea. No Champions League football this season and although it was only a glorified friendly, they looked way off of the pace yesterday and with a new manager as well. Wilf would be walking into what could quickly become a toxic situation there.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Let’s not forget we released Sako a few weeks back. Why would we have released him if we were seriously considering Wilf?! Just plain daft ...

Different terms tho by all accounts ... Yes , but that still means we didn’t release him and attempted to keep him at the club.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I doubt if the new Chelsea manager has seen Wilf play live, and if he goes along with his Board's wishes by making a bid then Chelsea will not be "his team". I think he has bigger things on his plate at the moment - keeping Hazzard and Willian for a start. I think the mid-season window is much more likely.

Yes , but that still means we didn’t release him and attempted to keep him at the club. My point was if we were / or have been thinking of selling Wilf 'maybe' letting Sako go was a bit hasty, or not if we know Wilf is staying ...

Sako is probably a bit deluded regarding how much a player on the bench doing nothing should be paid after a few years of receiving £60k for virtually nothing. It was the right decision.

Don't disagree but he was proving more than useful before that final injury last season. High propensity to be injured and therefore the right call. He’s still a free agent!
