My Dad used to take meto alot of away gameswhen I was a kid,but he never took me to Millwall. . I can handle a little hostility but they are just plain evil.
In my local football team people wouldn't turn up to play if we had to play the pikey's where you knew you would go home with the very least ear ache from the verbal you would get. Its human nature.

If u boys are so worried about unprovoked attacks then u better hope cardiff dont come up, weve got our idiots but they're normally only there for the big ones.

er, Coolboard, i assume that you were referring to me when you stated "a spotty 19 year old..."? if so, i would like to say well and truly up yours. this subject is clearly a heated debate, 10 pages of replies is pretty good going, and it shows the split right from the top of the club down to us. So if you dont have anything intelligent/funny to say, which would clearly benefit the topic, which i must say has been highly interesting, please go away.

on a different note, Cardiff are indeed bad when it comes to unprovoked attacks. At the many city match last season, they played oldham or someone the same day. Standing outside a pub with some city mates, suddenly a group of Cardiff 'fans' appear, looking for trouble. Safe to say they got a class A arse kicking but it goes to show how far out of their way they will go to have a fight.

speechless, havent recovered from my fantastic unbelievable amazing trip to anfield to see my beloved palace take on the scousers and win 2-0. i have never been so proud to be an eagle, im just amazed.

my only palace

Im having thoughts about weather to go to this match or not, my reason(s)is/are as follows:

.....We always take such a s*** following down there,500 if we are doing good.
.....Also the fact that we mostley always get our arse kicked, no matter where the scum are, they always do good against us, just like Gilingham did.
.....And my third and final point is this, if we get chased down our own blooming ground by 1000 of em, then we are going to get ambushed if we go down there, we got chased out of our own ground, i mean wtf is all that about?

Bit of a worry over nothing. Been new and old den. Old was worst. Anyway London Bridge is where it seems to go off. They never go one to one that I have seen, always mob handed. Middlesborough is the only place that I have felt worried.

Palace till I die!

My view is this... What right has anybody got to tell me I'm a tosser or whatever for not going to an away game... That I'm not a true supporter cos I don't go to Millwall?? Rubbish.

It's those who say such things who need to get a life!! I have a season ticket, I paid £200 odd for and I've been to 2 games this season.... That mean I'm not a real supporter?? Or does it mean that real life means, due to work and finances that I can't get from Dorset to London for every home game??

Behave and grow up.... I love Palace as much as anyone, I feel bad when we lose, feel high when we win... I tattooed myself with the club badge... So don't tell me I'm not a true supporter... Kiss my arse!!

I don't fancy going to a ground with an obviously flawed security arrangement... I refer to the riots against Birmingham... I love Palace but I'm not gonna go just to get a kicking?? Real life means more to me than Palace.

So if you can't say something constructive then shut up.... How dare you speak about all those who love the club like that. We are all in it together.

Anyway, I'm ready for next season

Andy

f***ing spot on
