Remember him against Leeds when he got his head busted open and came back on with five stitches in it. Ayew has been brilliant for us, just the sort of player you need to get under the oppositions skin which he does tirelessly….

Sarr and Ayew are good players but are both right sided. I still worry we haven’t got enough ammunition down the left particularly in the wing-back position to provide cover and competition for Mitchell. Edited by XKudu (27 Jul 2024 8.58am)

He must be really frustrating to play against. I have even seen him smile recently! He would be a loss as apparently he is a very popular and respected member of the group. The trouble is he doesn’t have a natural place in the Glasner system and has looked lost and frustrated. He was perfect for Roy’s and the affection he had for him was apparent with that emotional statement when Roy left. It would be difficult to see him go because he always gives 100% and that’s what fans love. Hard for him too as he seems to have a genuine affection for the club. So whilst he may go somewhere where his style can be productive I wonder when he retires whether he will return. When asked which player will most likely become a manager the others tend to mention Ayew. Which surprised me, as he looks quiet and uncommunicative. Who knows?

Whilst Sarr was at Watford, I only saw him play briefly and to be brutally honest on the rare occasions I saw him perform I was not overly impressed.

More broadly it's a shame for one reason or another that JRS or Ebiowei are not deemed ready. Originally posted by Willo

Assuming there are not more outgoings I agree this looks to be the most likely looking lineup. Originally posted by Eaglecoops
