Oh dear. Bit immature, never mind. Have a nice day.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Totally agree,£50m is derisory, given the degree of interest being shown.

Maybe, but if he doesnt sign a new contract, he will go for free. So what would you do, cash in now or get nothing?

Three good options I think.
1. He signs a new contract- probably the best option for Palace assuming we are losin at least one of our best players
2. We sell him now to the highest bidder. If even half of the click bait is accurate there could be a bidding war between Europe’s heavyweights
3. We keep him til January, hoping we are top half, he continues to play well, and option 1 or 2 remain viable.

There have been some very average players bought for 40 million and so you would assume Guehi would be way above this, but I guess it’s what Palace are prepared to accept. Doesn’t he still have 2 years left on the current contract?

I can't see him going for less than £70m.
There is definitely a great future for him, but from our point of view, either way, its a win win.

Sky report on the transfer section that Barca, Juve among others interested in Guehi but Real Madrid head the list of clubs. If Real want him bad enough they'll pay big. I can realistically see an £80m or £90m deal. Parish is savvy enough to hold out for as much as he can and Real can afford to pay what it takes.
No doubt they've also heard glowing reports from Jude

Guehi's now top story on the Beeb's gossip page today thanks to the good old Sun.

If true, I wonder how how the bidding will go especially if one or more of the European giants also join the in.

Defensive stats, 23/24 stats
Guehi 2021mins 28TK/19TKW 22Blocks Headers won 43%
Richards 2094mins 46TK/29TKW 32Blocks Headers won 58%
Andersen 3415mins 56Tk/35TKW 33Blocks Headers won 65%

Riad 2164mins 35TK/24TKW 23Blocks Headers won 53%

Statistically Guehi is the best English CD in the PL, but only 3rd best at Palace last season.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

As much as I like Guehi and as great as he is looking for England I’m not so bothered if we lose him, especially if we get a large amount of cash. He was injured for our great run at the end of the season and Lerma and Clyne both played brilliantly alongside Andersen and Richard’s. We have also signed a younger South American centre half. Never good losing top players but with new signings and Glasner as manager I’m feeling confident with our squad. Let’s just hope Glasner stays as that’s my biggest worry as we would probably fall apart without him and his back room team :-(
