She was not committing any offence in being there. The police arrested her when she said she may have been silently praying.

As for the gas appliances, it is you who said that it is irrelevant what the circumstances are,all that matters is the perception of the “victim “.

I know you support the termination of nascent life. Those that don’t, have a right to voice their opposition.

The police have got themselves “in a pickle “ because of their authoritarian interpretation of the law. The courts are not in a pickle - they cleared the defendants.

In the interests of common sense and with sympathy for the moderator I will leave it there. If the penny hasn’t dropped by now it never will.

No. Run out of patience.

Banging your head against a brick wall is generally a waste of time.

Some causes deserve to be lost.

When it’s you bowling and you have cleaned bowled the batter several times but they have refused to walk, using the same excuse each time, it’s unsurprising if your patience runs out.

Yes, it must be frustrating when umpires and courts of law impose reality on fantasies.

Walking in cricket only happens when the batsman leaves before the umpire has given a decision so to use it in relation to being bowled out is nonsense.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

No umpires in this game. It all depends on good will. Which is totally absent.

If they did then it would be.

As I am not referring to any event, other than exchanges here, the fantasies must be elsewhere.
