Any game in which Ward-Prowse gets stuffed is enjoyable but Palace doing it is the glaze on the cherry on top.
It's very satisfying to beat WHam like that - the name Ade Coker still gives me shivers.

I think the word is ‘fickle’ nothing unusual from football fans, we all do it, myself included, I expect they’ll be a few back on Henderson’s case now, good last week, poor this week

Today was an absolute joy to watch. Well done to the players, the management and coaches and everyone else involved. Glasner has put the enjoyment back into watching us play.

Err, that will be Henderson-no saves to makes yet manages to concede 2.
Fair play, very good performance at Anfield last week, but inspires no confidence.

I’m well aware Swindy, there are also a few other things that could be pointed out however I’m reluctant to moan at all. I’ve done enough of that this season let alone others.

Wonderful win, PL football next season and concrete evidence to justify optimism for the future.

COYP!!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Its not funny, its coz he's vastly improved. First of all - he actually seems to understand the offside law. He gets about now and his general play is great, he holds the ball up and understands how to bring other players in. He's actually always known where the back of the net is. Remember his goal v Brighton? I was sad for him that Roy dropped him the next game.

6-0 would have been a fairer reflection of the game.
The front 3 were outstanding, but Wharton and Hughes gave them a platform to play woth their constant probing and passing.
Clyne had another impressive outing and Richard's tackling was spot on.
I wasn't sitting far from Glasner and he has very high standards becoming very animated on the touchline when he observed a drop off in intensity or casual spells of play.
A real pleasure to watch us play so well and with such positivity.

Slightly unfair.

1) He was s***e. And now he's playing better. So the moaning was justified at the time.

2) You actually do hear from us - in the other thread aptly named 'Mateta', you'll see a thread from me admitting to the consumption of humble pie.

Last Sunday first half possession and 2nd half determination was awesome. This Sundays first 30 mins was best I have seen in years. Bodes well for future. So many players individually improved and whole system of play a joy to watch. After just a few weeks of OG. Purchases of Munoz and Wharton following on from Richards mateta (now) lerma, eze and olise give us reason to be hopeful of plans to spend olise and Guehi sale proceeds well. Lots of reasons to be excited about next season

Great game, great performance.

but you are all way too hard on Mateta. He's a player that needs a run of games to play well.. and has been handled pretty badly since his time here. Its no surprise to me he is playing so well now he's been starting every game. His Last best run was at the end of Vieira's first year - when he started to score and showed what he can do. Then he's inexplicably dropped at the start of the next year for Edouard. never understood that. since then, he was forced into a sub role, that doesn;t really suit him. Fair play for him to take this chance, now it's come to him.

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

Last on MOTD when we played the best football anywhere.

Untcs.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
