Whether Glasner is still in situ should we get relegated is of course a matter of speculation and there are supporters entertaining the possibility that someone else will be entrusted to rebuild and hopefully mount a promotion push.

You appear to have an agenda against Glasner. The man has taken on a broken team with key players injured, he is trying to instill a new system. He needs to keep us in the Premier and then get some players he wants in the summer.
There are 3 teams odds on with bookies and us 20/1 to get relegated, they don’t get it that wrong often!

I can assure you I have no agenda against Glasner whatsoever.
I recognise his achievements and of course wish him every success at our club.
I fully appreciate the challenges he has faced with the squad.

Yes, Willo just can't get over the fact that "Mr Hodgson" has gone.

Mr Hodgson has departed but seared in my memory and consciousness are his achievements in keeping us in the PL season-on-season.
He is an estimable and urbane gentleman.

We have three wins and a draw from the last six home games and four of our remaining fixtures are at home. Two of the away games are at Fulham and Wolves, both of which may have little to play for by the time those games come around. JPM is in form, Wharton keeps improving, Olise should hopefully be fully fit by West Ham and hopefully Richards will be back too. The only game I would say we're almost nailed on to lose is next week against Liverpool but even then they are depleted at the back, so we should get chances.

I know it looks bleak at the moment but if Olise and Eze can both stay fit I still think we'll hit 40 points. I know people will laugh at me for saying that but I just think Glasner has a winning mentality and he won't want to end the season with a whimper.

Mr Hodgson maybe estimable and urbane, but he has gone, get over it.

Yes indeed, but his health finally failed him, not helped by the injury crisis and resulting downturn.

With the greatest of respect, the notion that I am still emotionally attached in the manner you are inferring is wide of the mark.

I respect all the achievements of Mr Hodgson however we are now into the 'Glasner era' and one hopes that he brings success to our club.

Your continual speculation on several threads about Glasner being replaced in the summer, doesn’t look like you wish him any success at all.

With respect, the notion that I have no desire for Glasner to be successful at our club is 'For the birds'.It is in all our interests that he succeeds in improving the fortunes of the club.
You have clearly misinterpreted my sentiments.

Apropos 'Continual speculation' I have merely related the thoughts of some supporters who have entertained the possibility that relegation (Perish the thought) COULD result in a change on the managerial throne for the reasons I have articulated.
Rest assured I certainly do NOT wish this scenario to be a reality.

I think it's extremely touch and go for us to stay up. We need results against Fulham, Wolves, Newcastle, Villa maybe United.

If the disastrous does happen then I can't say it's not deserved.

1. Ridiculous summer transfer window, wasted money and poor decisions
2. The stupid decision to bring on Olise at Brighton
3. The seemingly sentimental decision to keep Roy on for the extra few weeks.

If you look at the results against the fellow strugglers

Brentford - draw, Win
Everton - Loss, Draw
Forest - Draw, Draw
Luton - Loss, Draw

1 win in 8 against the fellow strugglers excluding Burnley and Sheffield Utd.

That is relegation from.

Perhaps Parish gets his ideal position of being a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

I agree with no 1, but Glasner did exactly the same thing with Olise against City and no one says a word.
Whether Roy would have done better or worse than Glasner is unknown. If we get relegated, then he couldn't have done worse.

What matters now is what happens next. We have to get results somehow, and I don't want to hear about systems or building for the future or how we will rebuild in the Championship.

Screw that, We need to stay up.

I felt despondent on Saturday after Luton’s last minute winner.
However, Forest’s defeat yesterday took away some of the gloom.

We have 21 points to play for - surely we can muster 5 or 6 points from those?
That should be enough to keep us up and , frankly speaking, if we can’t then we deserve to be relegated.
