I’m guessing the bods at ITV are doing high fives at the decision to put that on 4 instead of 1. F@ck me that was bad.

Slightly at a loss of anything positive to say. Oh yes, I quite like our 4th kit.

Thought our best player was Lerma - and Henderson had another solid performance .

It was so so so poor!

Lucky to get a man sent off and a replay. Can't remember when we last took advantage of playing against 10 men.

Absolutely no invention. Eze still not up to speed and bringing on Hughes was not an improvement. Mateta and Edouard as two No.9s will never work because they don't get support from midfield.

Disappointed with Guehi. An England player but only good for sideways and back passing.

Suppose we should be grateful the manager used his full subs quota, perhaps the first time ever?

On this form won't be pretty against Arsenal or in the replay.

If Roy was the shark in Jaws, that would have been one boring movie.

26 million? For Franca? Brilliant.

I must admit, he looks neat and tidy but more like a £5m youngster with promise rather than a big money transfer.

Dire stuff. At one point in the 2nd half I had to check to see if Eze and Mateta were still on the field.

He's more like the dead fish tied to the boat in The Old Man & the Sea

A shocking performance tonight which to my mind shows both why Roy needs to retire and why some quality additions to the squad are so badly needed.

I have said it before and felt it even in the win v Brentford, but we appear to have no tactics or strategy for attacking, beyond giving the ball to Eze / Olise / Franca and hope they do something. I would love to listen in to the sessions on attacking strategy and be proven wrong. Is it Roy’s fault ? I don’t entirely know, as we don’t appear to have enough players who are comfortable on the ball. But maybe those are the players who are not given a proper chance, and then are expected to deliver in the rare moments they are given on the pitch.

What I find even more amazing is that despite our lack of attacking ideas, we also appear to have no plans for attacking set-pieces, in particular corners. One of the recent statistics is that we are the only PL team not to score from a corner so far this season. Surely if we are aiming to play defensively and largely without the ball, then we need to be really focused on inventive corners and free-kicks. The fact we are not reflects badly on the management team.

We were so devoid of ideas tonight that we barely laid a glove on Everton even after Calvert-Lewin received his totally ridiculous red card.

I can’t believe anyone could have watched that match and not felt that we will be right in the relegation mix this season, unless we have several strong additions to the squad in January. It’s also worrying that Eze is so out-of-sorts, and has also deservedly earned himself a reputation for diving (one that I thought Wilf never deserved).

Love Eze but tonight he was mega sloppy, I'd hate to think how many times he lost possession. I thought Franca looked tidy and will improve with more minutes given. I felt like the team didn't trust him enough in the first half. Too much sideways and back passing in the second half.
