I'm assuming you came back on the A2/M2 as well then?

Yes sir, I always pop back to Catford afterwards so go up via Eltham.

Dunno what it is about that slow crawl through Maidstone but whenever I come down the hill, you know the one, and hit traffic there I suddenly start dying for a slash!

Needless to say the drive home is always a lot smoother following a ‘non-loss’. On a weekday after a win it’s something special though ha!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The referee was abysmal. For both sides. Helped make it a game to forget.

According to Sky Sports stats we had three shots on target, I can’t remember any!

.

Eze from a free kick, Highes a lob into the keeper's arms and Mateta's which was put behind for a corner, I think.

Fulham made Johnstone produce some good saves. They will feel hard done by

It's a beauty, I hope it kicks off an Art Deco revival

Well that was a nothing to write home sort of performance. We carried the last 10 minutes of the Villa game into this game. We lacked cohesion and gave the ball away continuously throughout the 90 + minutes.

I thought Fulham were the better team and had more fluidity to their play and for us Sam Johnstone was by far the busier keeper and was faultless.

We have not got the personnel to change the game whereas Fulham freshened things up a lot in that second half. We need our injured players back which was very evident yesterday, Roy has little choice with the players at his disposal currently which makes it even more frustrating.

It was, of course, built during the Art Deco Period (1919 - 1939) but it's at best debatable how many influences it drew from that era.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Thank you, I remember the Hughes shot now and have seen the Eze free kick on Palace’s extended highlights but can’t remember the Mateta shot on target. The Mateta shot on the extended highlights looks like it was going wide (Keeper held on to it low down to his left) and VAR may have said Mateta was offside anyway.

Johnstone played superbly, you can see the back four playing with added confidence with him behind them.

Next 10 EPL games how many points do you think Palace can get:

Man United (Away)
Forest (Home)
Newcastle (Away)
Spurs (Home)
Burnley (Away)
Everton (Home)
Luton (Away)
West Ham (Away)
Bournemouth (Home)
Liverpool (Home)

I think they need to look for 15 points at the minimum. Hopefully we see Olise and Franca before December that would be a boost to Palace. Lerma should be back soon so that is handy him and Doucoure have looked good together.

Hopefully Edouard can have a good season and get at least 15 EPL goals. Eze has been quiet so far hopefully the goals and assists come for him as well.

I was so bored I wondered off to do some keep fit.

It is the responsibility of the Home Team to attack and entertain their own fans.

Fulham were the better side on the day but they're not real Madrid.

Poor showing lads.

One more point

With the back four and the keeper looking very solid defensively and Doucoure and Hughes doing a good job, again defensively, surely we can take a gamble on starting Rak-Sakyi and giving Ebowei some game time to see what they can do, you only find out in the game, not on the training pitch.
