Thats all well and good but we've got rid of our highest paid player in zaha, aswell as milo, mcarthur, butland who would have all been on a decent wage and got in franca and lerma so should have space on the books for more players. I don't think any prem squad should only have 2 strikers and 1 lb.

Take Zaha as an example. He was apparently getting around 100k a week. That's around £5m a season. What are we going to do with that sort of money that will change our world? Him leaving doesn't add up to a big sum of money we can spend on transfers, that's for sure.

Let's guess that Butland was on 40k a week, Milo £60k, Mac £50k. That's less than £8m a year we've saved by losing those players. We've just given a contract to Lerma, and a new one to Olise, so the bulk of those savings are already gone. Even if we hadn't, again, the sums involved are not going to give us a war chest to storm the transfer market with.

Blame our poser chairman for getting old Roy back for a year. Should have appointed a manager for at least a couple of seasons so any new signings know where they stand.

Over half the PL teams sacked their managers last year (some more than one) so your argument is clearly nonsense, especially as RH is likely to be one of the survivors this year.

Yeah but the way a clubs wage bill is budgeted incorporates the transfer fee and wages over the length of a contract, so zaha off the books is 20 mill for franca plus his wages over 5 years and milos wages cover lerma, we must have more than 0 in our transfer budget this year.

Let’s be honest until we build the new stand and raise the clubs income we can’t move forward and spend more, and by the time that is done with wages and transfer fees going up we will probably be in the same position now. But what is the other option do a stoke Burnley or Leicester.

Guehi, andersen, docoure, eze, olise, sell 2 of them next summer and the club is guaranteed atleast 100 mill, we are really not in as bad of a financial position than some fans make out.

How ignorant, this is a fans forum, not a insult forum.

Charming what a lovely person you are. We are all on here to express our opinion about Palace not insult fellow supporters. If you can’t say something nice then I’m sorry you are unwanted in my opinion.

Totally agree with the above. With the exception of Pep and maybe Klopp all other PL Managers are a within a bad run of getting the old tin tack !

Why are we struggling to sign players then? Players and agents arent stupid they know we are a club with no ambition and stuck with a old geezer in charge on a short term deal. Players want clubs who have ambition and long term plans. We dont. If we do please tell me what our long term plan is?

Parish is useless and I told you lot earlier in the summer most players wouldnt touch us with a barge pole and I have been proved right.
