Right or wrong an offer was made, one that is unbelievable and way far off any other he would get from teams in England or abroad. I believe that Zaha is smart enough to understand that the offer Parish has made, means he is absolutely secure for life. We keep our best ever player-let me remind Brighton away two goals in 2013 and his fantastic appearance later ay Wembley which was epitomised with the penalty and Palace's stay in the premiership from then on to date-There is always the risk of injuries, more every year he is older, but the meaning of the whole process is that a mediocre premiership team has the power to keep its legend for life.Time will show if the move was wise.

His net worth at the moment is 47.9 million Euros, i think he will struggle by on that

i would like to see him stay but at what cost , we have complained about injured players before , shouts of take him off the books do we want to go down that line with Wilf say in 12 months time , he does recover well but the years take there toll on joints and muscles , and becomes harder so yes keep him but 200k no not for me

I imagine most of us would go along with you mtp. He has been a fantastic asset to our team but is now showing signs of frailty that would surely put into question a 4 year extension at such a high price.

We've shown we can live without him. Use the money to bolster the team with fresh talent.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I wonder if the 5 years & £200K is just Agent-speak for 'no-one else is interested in him, lets open a negotiation dialogue'

With the same figures being bantered about all over the place, it begins to look like a bit of a plant to me...

I am 100% in agreement with you on this.

The club, Wilf nor anyone else has even mentioned him leaving/staying, any sort of contract, nothing. The only people who are giving it large on this are the click-bait sites & gullible media outlets. Wait till June 30th people!

Parish has shown himself capable of humiliating dodgy reporting. If this were significantly wrong, he could easily do so here.

totally agree - he is already a multi millionaire. He bought this mansion back in 2015 - for the last 5 years he has earned £100k more than he was on then.

We also cant underestimate what Wilf does off the pitch. He is the face of Crystal palace.
He does so much for the community. He does soccer schools for kids in the summer as an example. I am sure he is an inspiration for our academy players as well.

with olise and eze flourishing now and they stay next season. Wilf as a striker and less man marked he could potentially have a high scoring season.
