I didn’t see the game live, but when I saw the lineups I thought we could have the opportunity to control the midfield with our three of Doucoure, Eze and Schlupp dominating their two of Skipp and Hjoeberg.
It sounds as if this didn’t happen and I’d be interested to know from those who saw the game live why we didn’t exert more control.

I was at the game. Spurs marked our dangerous players out the game by not allowing us any space out wide. There was space through the middle but we didn’t exploit it. They hunted our wide players in twos and either won the ball or fouled, or fouled and it wasn’t given. The ref was very poor, how Lenglet didn’t get sent off is beyond me. A full length rugby tackle to take down Zaha.

To be honest a 0-0 bore draw would have been a fair result.

Totally agree. I was also there, the ref appalling as he always is and Spurs tactics seem to be left over from 1979s Italy. Disgraceful

He said it and it's the truth he didn't offer anything.

The guy is a waste of time 90% and not worth the wages and I noticed he was captain again what is that about worst choice.

He doesn't help Mitchell out on that side which is why when Ayew was on that side we look so much better.

We all know you never say a good word about Zaha. Just for one moment, think about the treatment that was dished out to him yesterday, which the ref decided to ignore. He is captain because he plays with passion and is not afraid to speak to refs ( like most PL captains), give me him over Luka any day.
Wonder who will be your vitriol target next season?

I wasn't at the game, but watched a stream, and those tactics which we see week in and week out from some teams just sicken me.

What's happened to the beautiful game?

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

It’s alive & well & will return at Selhurst next Saturday! Two teams without the weight of crippling expectation & delusional fans

Sadly it was another game totally ruined by the officials, the game was riddled with our players shaking their heads in disbelief.

Frustrating for them to walk off the pitch at the end knowing they've been completely done.

Invariably, supporters have a proclivity to only lacerate officials when their team has been defeated, a victory and not a murmur of discontent.

Don't know what game you were watching . We had plenty of decent chances to save a point the best of which fell to Eze who scuffed his shot with an open goal . Andersen fluffed his lines in the first half , Olise shot straight at the keeper ,Zaha missed the top corner by 4 inches and (I think it was Andersen) rolled the ball across the goalmouth in added time with nobody accepting the invitation of a tap in .
If they were not clear chances I don't know what is .

Cant be too dissapointed with the performance . We played OK without reaching the hieghts of recent weeeks but not playing so well against a top 6 side away and losing 1-0 is not a dissaster . Forget it and move on .

We did play ok, but considering Spurs have been awful of late and hadn't kept a clean sheet since February we all maybe expected a bit more. My comment about it not being 50/50 was perhaps a bit misleading, what I meant was that Spurs carved out the clearest chances and took them. Our chances were really half chances. The stats back this up with Palace having an XG (expected goals) of 0.3 and Spuds having 1.1. If it had ended a draw I don't think anyone would have argued it would have been a fair result, but based on the type of chances Spurs created they had just had enough to edge it. Let's call it 55/45!
