Both my young sons screamed and screamed when that JP goal went in.
They have lost their voices, which to be fair, means a quiet night for me and the misses.

Some really miserable people on this site…if you were not at the game, you have no idea how exciting it was. It was fab! That could be just the result we needed.

Ray was screaming encouragement throughout - and the fans played their part.

Well done Roy & COYP

Great from ayew , (as always in my opinion ) and mateta first touch was excellent plus finish , hopefully build his confidence , what a day !

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

I was still cursing Mateta for that terrible header a minute earlier when he scored!!

To be fair, considering Matetas touch is awful most of the time that was a great touch and turn when he recieved the ball from Ayew.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

First half we should have been out of sight, second half we dug in and got two great goals. After watching that performance Leicester look in real trouble. Their midfield and defence were absent for a good 70 minutes and without Vardy they just looked toothless.

The best thing today was seeing Eze enjoying his football again. Playing him on Olise's side of the pitch seemed to work really well so kudos to RRP. Hopefully Wilf's injury is only a niggle as once he went off Leicester seemed to be more confident to push forward. Having said that well done to Ayew and Mateta. Thirty seconds earlier I was ready to drive JPM to the tip and was screaming at Ayew to be more positive

I am more than happy. This was a first season Roy performance. Maybe he just needed a rest!

Brilliant result. Just checking it's not some elaborate April Fool's trick?

Kudos to Eyew for setting that winner up, had a feeling we'd pull something out of the hat, even til the very end, just felt like a different team spirit today. More of the same please!

Yes there some miserable people here HOL I wonder why they bother showing any interest in our club if your looking for glory go else where. If not enjoy the rollercoaster ride with the Palace family

I was fully expecting Royball. 31 shots 9 on target confirms something I've suspected for a while - I know f-all about football.

Well done the team and Roy. Just perfect.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Honestly. My flabber is ghasted. Managed to pick up the second half on a dodgy stream and kept hearing how much better we were in the first.

Then Mateta goes and scores a fab goal. I'll be dancing in the streets tonight.

Great win. Well done lads (and you Roy).

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
