Feeling a lot more positive. Latest video of the team training shows a confident team, being well drilled with lots of enthusiasm.

Looking forward to the game on Saturday. Let the Selhurst ‘roar’ return..

2-0 Palace!!

tbh I would choose Hughes and Lokonga over Hughes and Doucoure though strongly suspect both Lokonga and Doucoure will play.

Stunned if doesn't select Doucoure.

Anyone who thinks Palace will win another game this season needs their head examined.

1-0 Leicester.

I tried to make an appointment, but they told me there is a three month wait. By then I will know if the examination is necessary. We will see.

My prediction is that if we don't get at least a point in this game, then our chances of the drop will increase considerably.

A win would be massive for morale.

Roy will play one up front and look for a goaless draw.
Zaha will lose the ball and stroll around moaning but Grandad Roy wont want to upset him so wont say nothing. We will have one shot on target and Maddison will score to give Leicester a 1-0 win.

Roy will say after the game look at the positives we had a shot on target and only conceded one goal. Parrish will sit in the stand with his cheerleader Bright without a hair out of place and look like a poser.

Roy in his press conference today indicated that he would expect his players to have improved at the end of his 10 match in charge and that we would have enough points to survive. This came across to me that he is more hopeful of winning games later than at the start of his tenure. Leicester have a lot of attacking players and if they are on their game they could cause us a lot of trouble.
I would be content with a draw despite the fact that a win would send a message to all the other reams that we are not involved in their relegation battle. 2-2 draw for me.COYP

I think we will come out with a lot of energy, for a change. The crowd will be fired up for this, for the first time in a long time. We finally play at home, against a team that isn't vying for Europe.

That being said, I can easily imagine us dominating play early, failing to score 1-2 sitters, then being hit on the counter, and down 0-1 in the first half. How many times have we seen that?

It's going to be a real pivotal match. If we score 1 or, god forbid, 2 goals, Selhurst will be rocking and there will be huge positive energy for the rest of the season. If we manage to lose this one, I fear the crowd will start to turn on the players and the board.

Given how crucial a win is for both sides, watch it be a draw.

Another interesting aspect will be how Roy uses the 5 subs he can bring on? In his last spell he often was reluctant to use even 1 sub. I view this as negative this time around given the stronger squad he has at his disposal. On positive side Anderson and Guaita both were both involved in the training so look like they will be involved in the Leicester game. It means we are close to a fully fit squad apart from Richards (I am not including Ferguson as he permanently injured or recovering from injury)

Second that!
8 of the last 10 games are so-called 6-pointers. As long as we avoid losing these games we should stay up, probably by the skin of our teeth. Like back at the last game on Hillsborough when we drew 2-2 in our Ambrose-season.

Guaita's back. That's kind of crucial. The young lad did well enough but not there yet. I'll stick with 1-1.
