Best decision under the circumstances.

He is very knowledgeable, he knows the players and is a local man.Exactly what we want at this time.

With the appointment of Roy and Ray we're certainly doing our bit to help Jeremy Hunt's initiative to get older people back into employment.

I hope it works and, if it does, that there's not a clamour for Roy to be manager next season.
Let until the end of the season mean until the end of the season.

I also hope that the club don't hid behind the excuse 'we can't start identifying candidates until we know which division we are in.'
To enable proper planning for pre-season and next season we need a proper candidate lined up by June.

This clubs a fvcking joke...Millwall and Charlton musty be pissing themselves.

We'll get relegated and Millwall will come up, how fvcking bad will that be.

Hang your head in shame Parish - you've had 10 seasons and we're still fvcking clueless.

I've heard we're trying to get Sir Bobby Charlton in on a free to bolster our midfield. He's without a club at the moment.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

It will be interesting to see what sort of reaction Roy gets. I suspect it will broadly be positive, out of respect, but cant imagine there will be many in ground that truly want him there.

If we lose to Leicester I suspect the atmosphere will be one of the worst we've witnessed.

Mods, give that Waddy pr1ck a yellow card. Probably a Brighton Troll.

Roy will keep us up in the Prem. Survival is more important than playing attractive football.

What does being a local man have to do with anything?

We need at least one point a game to get to 37pts.

Since Jan 1 we have amassed 5 pts.

I really fear this time we are in the sh1t and the unthinkable will happen.

I had a feeling this would happen, but, nevertheless, felt a jolt of shock when I woke this morning and saw confirmation of Roy's reappointment.

But let's be realistic, with the mess we are in, and with only 11 games of the season left, it was unlikely that we were going to be able to recruit a permanent new manager of any stature and credentials. So it was always going to be stop gap.

However, it does feel that this is an act of desperation, and even laziness, on the part of Parish. How far did he look for someone to step in. When he decided PV's time was up had he thought the matter through? Did he already have Roy marked down as our saviour, or did he have no idea where to turn next?

But, I hope we are all proved wrong with our disapprobation of Roy's second coming. The deed is done and we have to get behind Roy and the team for our next match on the 1st of April. It would be unfortunate if that date proved prescient to what will befall us against Leicester City.

Yeah, those clubs who haven't had a sniff of the top tier in years will feel really superior.

Behave!
