If Textor succeeds in merging his Eagle Football Holdings with sports investment company Iconic Sports Acquisitions, and then floating the company it is predicted to have a value of £1.2b. That’s what will give him access to the funds he needs to buy out Harris and Blitzer. And that’s a scenario that will probably keep Steve Parish awake at night. Interesting. But why would it keep Parish awake at night? If that all happened, there'd be little Parish could do about it, and fretting would be a waste of energy. It does seem like Parish's days are numbered though the denouement might come later rather than sooner as these things take time. On the one hand, those who are keeping him in his role (Harris and Blitzer) clearly want out of Palace. And on the other, the force that apparently opposes him (Textor) seems to clearly want to be further in. The direction of travel thus appears established and in either case, the Parish era is approaching its endgame.

I was really just using an expression. Steve's 60 in 3 years time and I think he'll be looking at that milestone and deciding he wants a lifestyle change. That may come sooner depending on the other 3 main shareholders and where they want to take things.
