. Might I suggest you start a new thread to ask that question, if it is so important. It seems completely unrelated to me, especially as a man using a space reserved for women would certainly attract police attention if someone complained. You are trying to reopen the trans debate which has no connection to this at all. Except you defended one form of intimidation.

I wondered how long it would be before you brought your imaginary relatives and friends into the debate. Absolutely this. Next will be the " I could send you details with the names and addresses redacted ".

Except you defended one form of intimidation. I doubt that! Without knowing the detail (and I don’t want to know it here) I anticipate a misrepresentation or misunderstanding. I don’t defend intimidation.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

If not you must live in a very small circle. I don’t think it’s so unusual. I can immediately recall 3 I have known about and am sure there were others too. '

If someone feels intimidated by someone standing silently in a public street, then they are probably mentally ill. People should not be held responsible for how other people happen to feel or pretend to feel. This lady stands next to an abortion clinic for a reason. She can pray anywhere and it will have the same effect on God. She chooses to do it where it will affect desperate pregnant women. It is intended to be intimidating, just as the massive anti abortion lobby in the USA designed it.

This is a very good post I am sure Becky did not mean that women are not going through trauma when preparing for an abortion, albeit that could be read into her post. Yes, it is an awful decision and one that affects those that take it, one way or the other, for the rest of their lives. Playing the super guilt-trip card is an abomination. Women need to be able to decide with supportive help and not bullying from those that have a strong agenda. Mansplaining the intent of Becky's post, well done

Just trying to establish why a woman praying in a public place is intimidating to the extent the police get involved while a man in a space reserved for women and girls isn't. I thought these orders were meant to protect local residents from harassment?

So I assume you have previously had to use an abortion clinic so know exactly how those using their services feel? You must be also using an assumed name here. It’s good to know that at least some of hose seeking an abortion are mentally ill. That explains a lot! Whether they are aborting a nascent child or not, whether they are a man, a woman or one of the made-up genders or not, if they feel intimidated by someone standing silently in a public street, then they are probably mentally ill. People should not be held responsible for how other people, mentally ill or not, happen to feel or pretend to feel.
