I understand on occasions where it might just not quite constitute a foul for a penalty or what have you but that was surely an admittance of: ‘We expect you to go down there but actually there wasn’t much of a foul and/or your dive wasn’t good enough’ which is ridiculous and shows just how incompetent the FA et al are. Also, wasn’t that initially delayed decision given off the back of spammers players swarming the ref? Isn’t that punishable? Should be for both Wet Spam and ref. Fine them and demote him. Either way they can all fcuk off, great great win for us and on we go! I think that's the main thing here. West Ham will this evening be coming to terms with being c***s.

What a pleasant surprise for US to score a heart break winner in the last minute, normally it’s us that has to suffer that agony. Great win, great performance, don’t chuck away the hard work at Forest on Saturday.

Get in. Lovely 3pts and finally we get some luck in the final minutes. Thought we were clearly better team in the first half, second half more even but we should have been ahead after a lovely move but Eze couldn't finish it off. As players tired it once again highlighted we certainly lack depth but with a couple of good additions we could really push on. Well done PV, tactically switched it a bit today obviously with Zaha up top but Olise had a good game coming more centrally at times with Eze a bit wider. COYP

Was nervously awaiting the inevitable capitulation we're all grown accustomed to. Delighted with Olise's winner. On balance, Palace definition deserved that three points. [Tweet Link]

On the train home. Took my son with today, as he has never been to West Ham. When we scored in injury time, everyone in the away end went crazy!!! My son is still grinning -said it was a moment he’ll never forget. Trying to think of the last time we scored in injury time and won a game?! It is normally the other way round!

Also.... I have only known one other instance when a ref went to the VAR screen and didn't give it. So in that respect we are lucky. Having said that, upon first few viewings I was quite confident it wasn't a foul. But then obviously it escalates and you wonder if you're missing something. To me, he barely touched him. He certainly didn't 'pull' him so much that the player was destined to collapse to the ground. And also the ball was not under control. Foul or no foul, the goal keeper had the ball. But hey, what do I know? I literally no longer know what a handball or off side is, so chances are I can't call a foul either. But the ref's decision was called out by VAR and he consequently reversed it. Surely that is the most common outcome with VAR.

Fabulous result. I watched the first half on a stream, but lost the connection at half time so missed the wonder goal. I thought we were much better than them, from the time I saw it. and, as others have said, we look the real deal now. some terrific touches and wonderful moves to create plenty of chances. BUT, we must put more of them away. could, should, have been leading by 3 goals at half time. A win next week at Forest will see us nicely into the WC break and set us up for Christmas. Tonight may be one of those rare occasions when I stay up to watch MOTD2. Well done you Palace!
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Excellent performance and result. Total dominance. We still need to get better at generating chances from all the good play. That should keep the bed wetter's quiet for a few days
