Not on the telly but radio in the early evening of Sunday, "Sing Something Simple". It was a reminder for me that the weekend was over and school beckoned in the morning. I hate that theme tune to this day. In a similar vein, the Billy Cotton Band Show whose resident female vocalist was Kathy Kaye. Dreadful.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

It was on at tea time on a Sunday - the only meal that was eaten in total silence in our house as we were all glued to the radio for that week's exciting episode.
