Southgate has tried and we have seen improvements but imho I think a combination of a lack of women and halfwit pundits on match days has cost us and the England manager has not done enough or given enough attention to social and political matters. If a trans woman with a St George cross on her pecker had been on the sidelines we'd have won this..

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Southgate Out!' by becky Guys, chill. These games are there just to iron out issues. Southgate and the team will have learned from this. Next game; kneel twice as long, have a minute's silence for a crash on the M4 last week, rainbow beanies, a round of applause in remembrance of Leyton Orients top scorer of the 60s and brown shoes for arse cancer awareness month. Oh and the Peckham hipsters that "rescued" that Nigerian fella get to do a lap of honour before the game. Then those Hungarios won't know what hit them.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

As the pundits said this evening ... the time to really worry would be if the team (whoever may be in it?) comes out in September and plays as ineffectively as tonight.

This result was pretty pathetic but you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Southgate likes to mix teams up, and on the negative side this can be the result of that. He should be allowed to see the World Cup through as he's done enough all in all to deserve that. If it comes good at the right time, within about 5 seconds nobody will care about these results. He's likely out after the World Cup unless we get to maybe the semi finals, so it's a situation that will answrer itself. The proximity of the World Cup is his Get out of jail free card.

The Justin Trudeau of football, the end boss of wet & melty, a man so weak if this was medieval times his sole purpose for being would be to get slapped round the head daily with a fish. The worst thing is he is a dead cert for palace boss in the future & will be the people person to relegate us.

I had turned off long before any pundits asked Southgate why he keeps playing the same useless overated players that have failed him in the past and expect different outcomes . This result was waiting to happen ,just suprised it was against a side that LOST at home to ALBANIA as recently as last October in a world cup qualifier . Our own WC preperations are in tatters ,Southgate doesnt know his best side ,doesnt know his best formation and doesnt know his arse from his elbow . Someone higher up the food chain should pull him to one side ,tell him that trying to act the statesman is not in his job description and that winning games is ,the next one being the last chance to put things right .That its in Rome would make me think a replacement had better be lined up before we take on the Germans at wembley .
