Welcome to Paris today. Security letting their own french Africans in but not scousers. France should be banned from hosting any football for years

Yes, indeed, they should be banned from hosting a major tournament for at least 10 years, along with us after the wembley fiasco, an even bigger tournament and an even bigger fiasco!

Yep the biased reporting is in overdrive. I might be wrong but I cannot think of any other European Club Final that has had these type of problems, only those involving Liverpool.
Perhaps those with genuine tickets should be calling out those that had fake tickets or tried to get in without one.
Yet again no blame on Liverpool, always the victims

Yep, no club final, but the bigger European championship final at, er, WEM BER LEE!

Yes. The common denominator is English football fans.

Well UEFA are having an independent report carried out.
As long as the finger isn’t pointed at dipper fans it will be the truth !!!

And if the finger IS pointed at bin dipper fans, don't worry because Andy Burnham, Ken Loach, Sue Johnson, the BBC etc etc etc will be on the case and will eventually get 'justice' through attrition.

Wonder if the investigation will take as long as the Sue Grey report which was delivered in record breaking time for a public sector snail report.
BBC have already passed their vote that Liverpool are blameless. They obviously ignored pictures of Liverpool fans goading les gendarmes
Amazing how many dodgy French pick pockets wear red Liverpool shirts. I’m talking about the hundreds that were packed in the aisles thé Liverpool end. Or maybe they had nicked them from the dippers.

Question for the enquiery. Do the rougher members of Liverpool support spend time honing their skills with dubious Paris residents or is it the other way?

Do you mean these people or institutions put forward the facts?

It's funny that you go out of your way to blame Liverpool fans, regurgitating the chip on the shoulder narrative yet you seem to have one on your own.

Yes. The common denominator is English football fans.

And the French police YT!

There are many examples in the past of the French police targeting innocent English football fans (not just Liverpool) with pepper spray and tear gas.

As I wrote in an earlier post, the organisation at the ground was severely lacking. Our supporters in France have gained a reputation as hooligans and that's how they're treated whether or not there are any signs of trouble.

Uefa are culpable. They claim that, since the match was switched from Russia in February, the French had very little time to prepare properly. How long do they need to treat football supporters like enthusiastic fans going to an entertainment event rather than hooligans looking for a fight?

Our own Palace Chick, who was in Paris at the weekend, wrote on the first page of this thread that, as far as she could see of the many Liverpool fans, they 'behaved themselves'.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Well if we wondered how the media were going to fill the news void over the next ten weeks, along come good old LFC again. As usual if the team can’t make the headlines, their fans will oblige. Yawn.

They have an Erasmus programme. Sangatte - Dover - Liverpool - Paris and back again.
