Horrible performance by most of the team. Hard to pick a MotM. I'd say Mateta? At least he looked interested for 90 minutes, which is more than I can say about everyone else.

My message was not one of "Told you so". I was replying to a post whereby I was accused of 'Hindsight' and my humble riposte was to assert that I actually thought that with the semi-final next week, I did not expect a positive result and posted such sentiments on HOL. In terms of my age, I shall be 70 this year.
So claiming 'foresight' is not telling us you were right?

Credit to Leicester who did well to frustrate us. Couldn't take some fairly clear cut chances in the first half and were punished for it. Classic Palace!! ..and when we did actually gain some momentum due to the penalty we were shut down by one of their players making out he had a head injury which the ref fell for, that cost over three minutes of time and at the end they added just 4!

Agreed about those chances, even if we had put one of them away it could have dented Leicester’s pressing and changed the game in our favour. Thought we looked disjointed today playing (made to play) to deep. Lots of space between our 3 lines which Leicester capitalised. Let’s hope the defence, midfield and forwards work together better next Sunday as they have done recently. Seen this display by us at different times of the season and we need to be tighter next week as it will be much tougher against Chelsea and they will punish us more than Leicester as they did yesterday.

We were simply outthought and outplayed by a much better team. So it's got nothing to do with the players having their eyes on next Sunday?

Bad day at the office today. Shining light was Eze who looks like he is regaining some sharpness. Wasn’t happy with Ward who seemed to spend more time moaning than he did defending.

Are they a better team ? i dont think so ! they just played better than us today , we had too many players off their game today , that with a few strange substitutions and a bias ref yet again . We fell apart imo when Mitchel was taken off and Ward was brought on .

I would have taken that score at half time so not too upset. What does annoy me is that we spent 3 and a half minutes of injury time knocking it sideways between the defence and can we get Wilf off the pens please? Even the ones that go in are bad penalties and he will miss more than he scores.

No big surprise today the game before an FA Cup semi final, in fact I was amazed we put in such a good performance against Arsenal all things considered
