Well done Palace!! I missed the game today owing to a bout of Covid, but will be there for the semi for sure.

They put so much into that opening 20 minutes as soon as they went one down the belief just evaporated.

The last goal was a fluke, I was convinced it was handball but what do I know? The keeper made an amazing save and yet not a single Everton player had the desire to back him up. Could probably say similar to the Olise one off the post, just an open goal on the follow up, no challenge of any substance.

They are in that horrible position where they will be hoping Watford and Burnley lose games

Much more assured 2nd. half, Everton never really troubled us except for the first 15 mins. Hoping for Man. City in the semi, they've have trouble scoring against us this season !

Personally, I'd prefer Southampton!

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Fantastic performance. I said after the first 10 minutes, that if we could avoid conceding for the first half an hour that we would be fine. Everton are a tired team at the moment and they couldn't keep that press up, they must have gambled everything on getting an early goal and they worked hard for it.

The Townsend stoppage gave us the chance to reset, we were wobbling and nervous due to their pressure, once we got into the game we controlled and dominated the game. Understandably, Everton wilted and disappeared with every goal they conceded.
