You are having an absolute laugh, right?
He was woeful for the entire first half. Gave the ball away, passed backwards and never took his man on once.

Didn't see all of the second half...but apparently he also took a dire penalty? Aside from one decent strike...it was the Wilf we've become used to now. Distinctly average.

Too right. Dreadful apart from the one brilliant gola. Everything else? Woeful imo

I was impressed with Zaha’s performance tonight. Didn’t look a million miles away from his best.. Maybe being away with his national team did him good.

Really? First half absolute cack. Amazing goal, obviously.

I'd rather Anderson or Schluppy on pens.

It's all well and good dominating games with loads of possession, but we have to learn to kill games off.
The substitutions again seemed to weaken us, although it's easy to say that after the event
Edouard and Eze seemed off the pace of the game.
I do think we'll improve when Mcarthur and Kouyate are back on the positive side.

Agreed!

PV has 4 huge games coming up. f*** the style of play, we need minimum of 6 points or he should really worry for his job. We are paying the price for dropping points in games we should have seen out (Brighton home, Newcastle home, arsenal away etc).

Tonight was a massive game. Conceding after 42 seconds is unacceptable!

Ha I was screaming for him to be hooked and he scored a belter as the words left my mouth.

What can you say about one so up and down? You're both right.

We had em on a plate 2nd half. Very frustrating.

Totally.

One brilliant goal and otherwise poor.

We will take that all day long.

We would have lost without Zaha's goal.

No worries. We'll beat the Bees on Saturday, no danger.

I thought this as well. Very impressed with Aarons tonight.

I wasn't impressed with Ward again, great servant and player over the last 10 years, but his time has come. Clyne should be in for the rest of the season, then recruit, Ferguson isn't the answer, another injury prone player, so you can't rely on them.

He slipped. Sometimes that's just the way it goes, and it can happen to any player.

Story of our season… dominated but couldn’t convert into 3 points. We’re very close to being excellent. Just need to stop leaking goals and need to be more clinical. The rest of our football is fantastic. That second half was a total onslaught.

Olise and Wilf were a constant threat, surprised he took off Olise. Gallagher and Hughes were good on the ball and moving it quickly. Only negative for me continues to be Wardy. Can’t knock him for effort but his pace has gone sadly and we need a full back who can get up the wing and attack.

On the whole, happy with that. Shame we didn’t get the win we deserved.

Sums it up really. We do often manage to somehow clutch defeat (or a draw) from the jaws of victory in ever more unusual ways. Never a dull moment.

Certainly various ways to look at it, but I refuse to subscribe to the doom and gloom and 'we're getting relegated' ideas. We have enough in us to avoid that.
